Highly recommended!

We have a problem with the EV home charging station.
The technician came the same day. I had a lot of questions, but he answered all of my questions and was very polite and friendly.
Also, regarding billing issues I had many questions as well, but Anna answered them all. She was very patient with me and friendly as well.

This is the 2nd visit from JDC to install a ""battery storage system"" at my place. As always, they have done a splendid job and thoroughly recommend them.

David Cobian ( the owner ) is as best as you could get for a local business in meeting your electrical needs. He is very upfront and forthright in his opinion and feedback. I had his team install the solar panels and power panel earlier last year. I inquired about batteries and he was like "" wait..for it.. no need to rush... let the products stabilize and will let you know when it is right time"" and sure he did.

A great pleasure working with him and his team, not to mention that Shannon ( his front office manager/rep) is on the top it and so are Al ( the technician) and others on his team.

for what it is worth, during this ""at home"" school sessions, I could not afford power to be off even for a little while and David brought in a portable power back up unit to see no interruptions happen.

I call that true and valuable customer service !!!

This is another review after the owner Dave Cobian responded to my review 11-1-2018, my original review was posted 10/14/2018.
You be the judge - ..

Oh my god! He outright fabricated a story....
Dave - owner of JDC Energy Solutions.....through this entire process - you've had the opportunity to do the right thing and you've NEVER taken it. Something you can't take advantage of is the truth!
#1. You let my job get away from you by using inexperienced workers and the customer had to stop your work and get someone to finish
#2. You never called as the business owner to follow up or apologize
#3 You blamed your workers
#4 You said the drywall repair was to complicated for your business
#5 THEN YOU MADE UP A STORY AND BLAMED THE CUSTOMER!!!! - you allege - that I changed the location of the fan box on day 1 which created much more repair than first quoted - then your employees did not call the office to get the additional complicated drywall patch approved.....so let's see....

For me - after reading your fabrication - whats confusing, your email to me after reading the review I posted on October 16th at 1:37PM. In that email no mention of the fabrication of me moving the fan box. Your Email stated:
""There was several factors that made the installation of the additional drywall complex, unfortunately, our crew failed to identify the complexity and attempted to do the repairs themselves""
Bull, photo of old fan, photo of new fan box showing start of drywall patch by your employee - nothing complicated....you sent nice guys - that have no experience working with simple framing and drywall.....or from the photos - maybe you can describe why the drywall patch was so complicated.
Your response to my review stated ""During the initial evaluation proposed placement of the grille - I asked the tech to place the grill away from the stud""

....well you know what they say ""the truth will set you free""

So lets see, I hired you to replace an outdated whole house fan ( see photo of old fan in ceiling, 30"" x 30"" box) You were to use the same location to install a new more efficient fan using the same location.
(See photo of finish new install - completed by another contractor - photos has been labeled A,B,C and D for better identification reference.
You can see a photo of your installer - at the location of the old fan and the fan box is up against the existing stud!! The D side of the new fan box is the side designed to be secured to a stud for new installation- label D (see photo of your employee on the ladder installing pieces of drywall around new fan box.
I know - you'll come back and say - ""oh, maybe the other side""
Well, lets see.. See photo with letters labeled B and C - can't use the B - side - existing electrical wires in the way. Can't use side C, again - the same run of existing electrical wires. Well - what about side A, oops...AC duct in the way and moving forward towards A - opens the old box even more...then your guy will be patching a bigger whole....
So you tell me, looking at the photos and re-read your own statement....why don't you explain - besides the existing stud your employee used ""not away from the stud"" where else could your guys have found that elusive existing stud your employee had to pull the box away from... the fan box and how does it current location create a much more complicated repair..........
And in your response, the parts about your company being responsive and being johnny on the spot with all things.........Liar Liar pants on fire.....

So - the recap.

JDC Job start date at my home August 27, Job to take 3 days.

Sept 24th Second Contractor hired to remove and replace drywall add framing, repair A/C Duct work that was crushed and reroute A/C duct work that was bent and closed. Second Contractor finished Sept 29th.

Email sent to Shannon JDC requesting additional repair funds because of A/C work that was damaged. Return Email from Shannon in the office dated Sept 27th which OKed additional money needed to fix repair A/C.

Yelp and Google reviews submitted 10-14-2018.
Dave owner JDC responded to my Yelp/Google reviews 11-1-2018.

12-1-2018 I responded to Daves (Owner JDC ) because he again did not take responsibility for his companies errors - in stead - he made up a story saying I caused the major issue by having the fan housing moved away from a stud..

Just wanted to thank JDC for doing such a great job with installing. my solar panels and whole house fan. I had the pleasure of working with Justin from the time i had to schedule the work. I work from home and have a baby and it was really important to me that they work around my schedule for the installations. They were very flexible and allowed me to reschedule our appointments on numerous occasions. They were very respectful of my baby's nap schedule and also provided my husband with regular updates as to the progress of their work. I get many compliments for my panels from neighbors and get told they blend in well w my roof. The fan works fantastic too. I appreciate this company putting my needs first at all times - great customer service!!
