This is our 2nd remodel job using JD General Construction. We are just as happy with a major bathroom remodel as we were with the kitchen. The crew working for JD are professional, cooperative and open to client ideas as well as suggesting some of their own.

Jesus and his team did a great job. The entire team worked in a professional and courteous manner. They even covered the floor from the front door to the bathroom so they wouldn't track dirt in. They finished on time, on budget and cleaned up everyday. When issues came up they resolved them in a way that exceeded our expectation. We highly recommend Jesus and his team.

I want to commended Jesus and his crew for their outstanding work for all of my projects, they were prompt and arrived at 8:00 and left at 5:00. Jesus was very attentive to detail and his crew followed his directions. My first project was placing my TV above the fireplace, it looks great and comfortable to watch. I also had many recessed lights placed in every room, my kitchen was remodeled and two bathrooms remodeled, I was very pleased. The crew was very neat and cleaned up everyday before leaving. Jesus is a nice person and he and his crew were easy to work with. I would recommended Jesus and his crew for any job they may have throughout your home.

JD General Construction just remodeled our kitchen, bathroom, family room and relocated/upgraded our electrical sub-panel. They all look better than we could have ever imagined! We contacted 5 contractors for bids. We chose JD for several reasons: They we're very responsive from the initial contact and throughout the entire process; their bid was very competitive to any budget; they were available to start when we were ready; and our project manager, Jesus, also an excellent licensed electrician, was truly amazing. You can't find anyone as honest and knowledgeable as him. There wasn't an obstacle him and his team couldn't tackle. He took the time to really find out what we wanted and guided us through the process and produced amazing results. Him and his team were very patient and receptive with whenever we had questions or changes as long as we were happy. We highly recommend JD General Construction and will definitely use them again and again.

JD General just finished our kitchen remodel. It was a Great experience from beginning to End. Miles and Jesus were very communicative the entire time.

Miles helped design our kitchen layout and customized our cabinet layout. He spent a lot of time with us upfront to ensure we liked the design, and the scope matched our budget.

Jesus came out on multiple occasions prior to construction and was very friendly and easy to talk to.

During construction to the crew was always on time, and very nice. They were neat, and cleaned up most days.

The project finished on time and on budget.

I'd like to give a big shout out to JD Constructions for doing a superb job on our kitchen remodeling project. I came across them while walking my kid to school on Marsh drive when they were working on Neighbour's project. I also noticed they did couple of other projects in the neighborhood and got good recommendation on Nextdoor. Here's what stood out for us:
- Super responsive and accommodating to our needs. They communicate with clients not just phone/text but create a chat group on Telegram app, and they are always available on Telegram (including nights and weekends) to answer questions, collaborate on design, etc. The app made is real easy to work with these guys.
- One of the partners Miles is an expert at design, and was very patience with all the various changes we asked them to make. Unlike some contractors, these guys do everything - drawings, permits, install, etc.
- Very reasonable and lower on cost than most established contractors.
- They expanded our kitchen, replaced sliding door, new cabinets, new appliances, new island, new countertop, plumbing, electrical, all in 4 weeks from start to finish. They estimated six weeks but were able to do it in 4 without compromise on quality. This was critical for us because living without a kitchen is a challenge.
- The crew took great pride in their work - they did an amazing job with the finishing and always cleaned up the work area everyday.
- The owner, Jesus, is super nice to work with. I am sure those who have done projects with them can attest to this.

Jesus and his crew did an awesome job raising our living room floor to the height of the entry and dining room. Their attention to details and making sure that we were completely satisfied with their work was such a nice change from what we have experienced in the past. There was a misunderstanding with one item and the very next day they took all necessary steps to make sure the issue was corrected properly. We didn't feel like any shortcuts were taken, just the contrary, they seemed to go above and beyond. Honesty and integrity goes a long way in our book. We were very impressed with this crew and have several other projects that we will be contacting Jesus to complete for us in the future. Jesus and his team transformed my old outdated kitchen and my entire home into a sanctuary. The main project was to take my tiny kitchen and transform it into a modern open plan by combining three rooms into one. Everything in the home was updated - kitchen, bathrooms, floors throughout and he even added a new door and deck so I could enjoy my backyard right from my bedroom.Everyone who sees the transformation is amazed! It's all so beautiful I hardly ever want to leave my home.

Jesus knew the challenges of the many many permit requirements in my area and ensured that we could pass inspection without excessive costs. My project involved exterior wall changes and load bearing walls so it wasn't just a simple refresh. He took over from a different contractor and recognized where we could improve the plans and save time and money. Jesus blew me away with his commitment to meeting my tight schedule. He had me back in my house before I expected.

For me energy is everything. I take the energy of my home seriously and I don't just let anyone into my space. I knew from the moment I met Jesus that I could trust him and I was right. He went above and beyond in so many ways. When you have an older home there can be little surprises at every turn during construction. Jesus didn't nickel and dime me, we worked together to solve problems and come up with solutions that worked for both of us. This review is for estimation and contractor hiring process of our home remodel project. We very much appreciate JD (owner/GC) and his colleague Miles for the fantastic experience in interacting with us during the estimation and hiring process. We first spoke w/ JD and then w/ Miles to go over our remodel. Both are easy to talk to. We have talked to at least 6 different general contractors through the entire process. They were the most responsive in terms of communication (via telegram app or phone) and approachability and would respond within the next hour to our questions.

Based on our remodel requirements, Miles built out different 3D renderings during the estimation project for our kitchen and master bath. FYI - some companies will charge you even for 3D renderings.

A great experience to work w/ JD and team and they were amongst our top picks based on communication, quality of work they showed to us as reference, project cost estimate compared to other general contractors involved in the short-listing process. Thank you.

Plus he didn't ""nickel and dime"" us on every little change that we may have raised.
