From beginning to end the process was a breeze. The owner Jose and his team took care of everything from the permits, to installation and obtaining the final sign off from the cities inspector. Had zero issues and Jose the owner and his office manager Jennifer were readily available by text and email to help with any question(s). Amazing! Thats all I can say about Jose and his crew. I contacted Jose just to have an EV charger installed in my garage. After a an in depth conversation with Jose on solar panels, I was definitely sold on the benefits! Soon after they installed my EV charger, I decided that I would also get solar panels installed. Throughout both experiences the crew was very polite, on time, and were ready to explain every step of the process. Although Jose wasn't physically there during either installation, he sure made it seem as though by responding to every single call and text I sent his way. My experiences couldn't have gone any better!

We were needing a dedicated 240v line for our electric car. We called JD energy and they answered right away and offered to even stop by the same day to assess and give a quote. They quoted 400 to 600 which seemed a little high but they were ready to work immediately. Came by in the next few days as promised and went to work; in and out, fast and professional. We'll be looking to install solar panels and they will be the first we contact when that happens.

Update: Tesla wall connector installation was completed this morning by Jose & Jose or as they bill themselves Jose A & Jose B. The appointment time was it 7:30 AM and they arrived a few minutes prior. They updated my power to 100 amps and installed the wall connector within the hour. The whole project end to end took 50 minutes. They were extremely friendly, polite and cleaned up after themselves once the project was completed. Jose x2 knows what they are doing. Jose is absolutely a master in his trade! I can't recommend them enough. You will never regret getting them for all your electrical needs, installation of any type of EV chargers, and for solar installs.

We had recently purchased a Tesla but did not opt for a home charging unit. We quickly found that charging from a 110v was only giving us 30 miles overnight. I plugged into our dryer 220v with an adapter which did not work.

I researched several electricians with quotes in the $900-$1100 range. I wasn't thinking it would cost that much. A friend of mine, who was getting solar installed, recommended Jose. He said that he was an experienced electrician with reliable insight.

Jose was very responsive to my calls and text messages when scheduling our first appointment. Within 30 min, Jose had assessed my fuse box, discussed options on placement of new 220v to save on expenses, and insight on what he has done in the past with previous clients. Not only was his quote $200 less than the lowest, Jose was easy to talk to, professional, and not pushy.

We agreed on a date that my wife would be home to allow for garage access. Jose and his partner did the installation within 3.5 hours. New upgraded 50a fuse, proper conduit and gauge wiring from the side of the house, past the side door of the garage, through the wall, across the ceiling and down the far side of the 2 car garage with a proper 220v outlet. My wife said that Jose and his partner was on time, friendly, and cleaned up very well. Now our car can charge to full from near empty overnight. We no longer have to drive to the supercharger in Mountain View or Sunnyvale to charge for 90 mile round trip commutes.
