I previously posted a detailed, fair, 1 star review under this same name 19 days before this update. You can scroll to view. The response from the owner Jack is noted, but unfortunately a 2 year warranty was never disclosed throughout the job and upon completion. When I found his business on the Thumbtack app, it wasn't disclosed there either. The warranty didn't expire yet since I'm only 1 year in. Thumbtack has said that his business is no longer listed there. Given the concern I have with Jack's response, I have even greater concern that the outdoor fuse box, which succumbed to severe weathering in only a few months and is now exposing my fuse box to the elements, was actually not built to code. I am in the process of filing the complaint forms with the Dept of Consumer Affairs and also the Better Business Bureau over my concerns. I'll post a follow up here after the process unfolds to inform if Jack's business honors the 2 year warranty or not.

JD installed two Nest thermostats in our home. The work was fine but he quoted me $150/hour for the job, then showed up with an assistant who did nothing but watch - and then he charged me $300 for the hour. Not cool, Dude!

I had a beeping smoke alarm that was driving me crazy. I called Jack and received prompt service before the start of the weekend. He even came to my house with the replacement smoke alarm with lithium battery to last 10 years. He detached my old smoke alarm from the hard wiring and replaced it efficiently. I would have him again if needed.

Jack and his staff was amazing. After the initial contact, I informed Jack that I was going thru my home warranty insurance. They never showed up. I contacted Jack again and ask for assistance. He came the next day and stay until he resolved my issue. I can't enough about this young man and his staff. I am truly grateful and impressed by his work ethic. I will use him again soon.

Jack helped us relocate an unfortunately positioned 240v outlet and to diagnose a complex wiring issue left behind by a prior contractor. He and his crew were friendly, professional and trustworthy. They did a particularly good job of explaining details and helping us evaluate alternatives. I look forward to working with them again in the future.
