Called Johnny because some of our lights in the house would not go on. I should have asked him what a service charge would cost. He charge us $89.99 to come out and flip a switch. It took him 2 minutes. I recently had another electrician come out to do a job ( I will never call JD electric again ) for us and I told him about our experience with Johnny and he said that Johnny could have told us over the phone to check the switch before coming out and it would have save us the charge. I told him maybe Johnny didn't know and he said all electricians know that you check this switch before you do anything else. Johnny and JD Electric made $89.99 off us but he lost a lot more money and I will never recommend him to family or friends.

Joe contacted me within a day of my message to him, with a quick estimate, reasonable price, and immediate service. He sent two electricians to install tons of high end outlets (Legrand), dimmers, and smoke detectors. They did a stellar job immediately identifying any odd issues and working diligently to solve them. Joe's estimate was spot on. Will definitely use them in the future!

We have been considering Solar installation for a while, and initially going with one of the bigger companies, until I had a friendly chat with a gym pal, who suggested I reach out to this business.

José came out in person to look at the house, and potential position of the panels. Meanwhile we exchanged e-bills from PG&E, to look at the house load, and he scooped up the size of the project, and gave me an initial scope. I asked him to minimize any visible electric ducting, and wanted it all hidden in the attic, which would cost a little more, but was aesthetically more pleasing. I wanted the best looking panels which were all black, and without the 'snowflakes. I also wanted the inverter to be future setup in case we add a battery in the future. José was very professional, and constantly gave great advice.

On installation day, his team arrived, and the day was going to be a hot one. He spent time with me on the roof to confirm the location, and then they got to work. In half a day, they had the panels all up, and the inverter mounted on the inside of my garage. I was working from home both days, and when he realized we needed to cut power on day two for the connections (I also upgraded my fuse panel), he brought a small generator, so I could continue to work!

After the installation was all complete, and operational, he got the permits, and then organized PG&E to sign off, and start to get our energy back to the grid. I changed the habits at home, and now the dishwasher goes on at noon, during our peak generation time. We even are generating power when the AC is running!

Our payback looks like less than 6 years, and this team were great. Very professional, Great Price, and Great Installation.

Recently, a fan in one of the rooms stopped working. Some of the companies and local electricians I called wanted to know exactly what the problem was ( if I knew that I would not need an electrician!!) Obviously the job was too small for them and they couldn't be bothered.
One guy suggested that maybe the batteries in the remote needed to be changed!

When I called JD Electric, they scheduled a person to come within a couple of days. Since they were so responsive I decided to switch out a fan in another room as well. So, finally the job turned out to be buying 2 fans and installing them. Oday was very helpful, efficient and knowledgeable. I will certainly use JD Electric again.

i called from east bay to get a fast service for my house and in specific my garage , and they are in the bay area in san carlos ,,
they sent a tech in 3 hours and got an estimate good resnable price , which i was struggling one day b4 Xmas day to find any company to help that day ..

the job was done...great , very happy and i will recommend them always .
