We give no-cost estimates and do not push customers into buying upgrades they don’t need. Each job is not merely a task; it’s a client’s residence and should receive the same careful attention we give our own. Want to upgrade your lighting? No problem. Need to install a backup generator for power outages? We can take care of that. Do you have an aging electrical service or wiring issue that needs inspection? At JCS Electric, we are electricians, not salespeople. Our minimal overhead helps us maintain competitive pricing. I started JCS Electric after 17 years of working in a family-owned company and aimed to shift towards a more customer-focused area of construction and remodeling. As someone from the Dallas area, I’ve worked in this industry since the mid-90s and acquired my skills in the electrical field from some of the harshest critics. What I learned is that the difference lies in the details. Even a thousand dollars of wiring is ineffective if the 6-cent wire nut isn’t fitted correctly.
