If you are looking for a professional, honest Electrian then you need to call JC ELECTIC, located in Deland, Fl.
As a female who has worked in facility maintenance for approx. 17 yrs, my husband trusted me to call an Electrician to deal with our electrical problem at our home. The first electrician I called shows up as scheduled, allows me to explain what our problem is, and listens to what I think our solution would be. He looks around for a brief 15 minutes inside and outside of our home and says, I will send you a proposal, however, I am approx. 2-3 out before I can do the job. (3) days went by and never received the proposal. I called them and they stated its not ready yet, however, the Electrician said it would be $935.00. I ask for details, like, how many hours of labor and how much money for material. They could not provide me with the answer.

I called JC Electric for a 2nd option. JC, himself, arrives on time as scheduled, listens to my explanation of our problem, and what I feel cheapest solution would be. I explained what the other electrician looked at as well. JC states, I appreciate all the history you have provided, however, I am not comfortable going by what others say. I believe we need to do a diagnostic of the areas where the problems are and lets find out whats causing the problem first! UP FRONT, JC tells you the cost would be $249.00 to run the diagnostics and any minor problem found that could be corrected would be included in the price.

Long story, short, by doing the correct diagnostics, JC found we had a bad breaker that would have soon caused a fire in the breaker box, replaced it and with the cost was only the original 249.00 plus a 24.00 breaker! FAR CRY FROM 935.00! I will be using JC Electric for all of my electrical needs throughout the years to come!

Thank you JC Electric! There still is honest service providers out there!

Looking to have some commercial work done. 3 of 4 companies sending out a rep to submit a quote for free. Guess which one is charging 100+ for the same thing. Im sure this company does great work and their customers are happy. For me though it seems like they are more interested in making the quick buck and not investing in their customers. And on a personal note.....its not polite to hang up on a potential customer when they don't agree to pay your estimate fee. I wish you the best in the future!

I called to have my circuit breaker panel looked at due to my water heater acting up and though the fee for the time I needed was $79, I agreed as I had worked with them years prior to them being JC Electric Inc. The gentleman came out, explained the charges and because it was a circuit panel, I think the price was reasonable for what they had to fix. I will definitely use them again for my Electrical Needs.

Just used JC electric. JC himself came out. Very polite. Cleaned up after himself. Answered all my questions and didn't mind me standing over him asking questions. Called before coming. Reasonable prices. Will definitely use again.

Called for a simple repair in my hi-rise condo. Was scheduled quickly, though I was read a scripted soliloquy about fees ($59 to step in the door, another $249 for I-know not-what). I agreed (don't know quite why, but I did) but then got a great deal of resistance in providing COI documentation and license to the Management Association, whose rules I fully support. (No, there is no fee and no deposit required for a simple repair.) I asked they call the person in charge to answer any questions, but they declined. It soon became clear that this was not the only difficulty they had with providing the requested service at this site; they were not pleased about on-street parking (directly behind the building and lots of it), being asked to use the service elevator, being keyed to a specific floor, etc. (Hullo... this kind of protection and security is WHY I live in the building.) There are 612 units in my building and I DO talk to my neighbors. You only have to submit documentation once. You're missing out on a good thing here, folks, but if you don't need the business... hey, lucky you.

Called for a free estimate and when asked what day I would be available, I said Saturday. Gentleman told me he needed to charge $79 for a Saturday visit. I said no thank you and he did not make any attempt to gain my business. I received estimates from two other companies on a Saturday with no attempt to charge me and spectacular service. I guess this company has too much business.
