Refrigerator Repair - had a minor leak in my frig and called JB Appliance as I have seen recommendations for his company several times on NextDoor. He arrived this afternoon and found the problem, a little over an hour later it is all fixed and life is grand again. Reasonable cost, great service and a very nice gentleman. Highly recommend! Called John yesterday evening at 5:30. Sent him an image of the model number on my Samsung front loader dryer. He came out the next morning by 8:45 am. Had the Samsung part(heater), not only replaced the part he also cleaned out some of the other areas where there was some lint(I always do my best to clean out the dryer vent areas). Total job for part and labor, $248.89. I gave him $250. Repaired it all in like in 40 mins.

DO NOT USE HIM, he will take your money and forget about you. I called John 2 weeks ago regarding a washer needing repair. He came the next day and looked at the washer saying it needed 2 parts at which time he was paid $80. At first, after calling him, he told me that he had received one of the parts but not the other one. After a day or two, I called him inquiring about the part. He said that he didn't know what happened to the part as he had not received it. After another call to him, he said the part was lost. He said that he would call the mfg and ask if they could overnight the part to him. He never did this as I learned after AGAIN calling him. Called him again and he said he would check on the price to have the part 2 day shipped. Never heard from him. Called him again and he told me to call someone else and he hung up on me. He already got paid the $80 and so he had no incentive to repair the machine. I do not know how he got good ratings as our experience with him has been terrible. I had to call him repeatedly and got the runaround every time.

JB was fantastic. Called him on Saturday afternoon, he came by on Sunday afternoon. Within an hour he had diagnosed and fixed two problems with my washing machine and it's up and running now. Couldn't be happier! and his price was BEYOND reasonable; less than half what I was prepared to pay. I will be calling him for any appliance issues in the future.

Our dryer was no longer heating. John was able to schedule a time to come out sooner than the others I contacted, and he showed up on time. He diagnosed the problem to be two thermostats that needed replaced, and was able to do so at once without needing to order parts.
