I have been Joe's client since 2009 and since then I call him for any electrical related work at home. Today, as always Joe did a great job along with his assistant Gilbert in installing a pair of new dusk to dawn decorative lights at the front of my house, another light at the side of the house, replacing a light fixtures at the kid's bathroom, a new light at the laundry room and changing a burned-out ceiling fan remote switch on one of our ceiling fan. He always goes an extra mile explaining and showing me how to maintain all these newly installed electrical items in good operating condition at all times to avoid costly repairs. Most importantly, the price were remarkably reasonable and the quality of work is always a 5-star. For the last 8 years now, I haven't call any electrical contractors except Joe and it shows how reliable his reputation is...great job Joe and THANK YOU!

Chirp - Chirp in the hallway. Chirped for 5 days over 4th of July weekend. Called Joe. We told him we had changed all five smoke detector batteries. The chirping continued. He asked if we had a carbon monoxide detector in the same area. Yes we did. Joe told us to change the batteries in it! We did. The chirping STOPPED!!! Never met the man. He saved us a service call.
Will definitely use Joe when we need an electrician in the future. Nice to have help that Joe provided.

Joe did a great job! He was on time and professional to work with. I recommend him to those looking for electrical work. He took care of setting up my light with a timer and installed two motion detector lights in other areas of my house.

Joe and his helper Steve took care of several electrical jobs including replacing Ceiling Fans, and updating a lighted house sign. They did a great job at a very reasonable price. Most importantly, Joe identified a dangerous wiring situation which could potentially result in a house fire which is being corrected! And he served as a valuable consultant regarding replacing out dated out door lighting in the most cost effective manner. Too top it off, he is a great guy.

Called joe at JAV Electric for a quote and he came the next day. His quote was very reasonable for the job he quoted. He was able to do the job on Thursday morning. Only problem was I had an appointment to drop off my car at the shop for service and wasn't sure how I was going to get home from the shop since my wife was out of town. Joe offered to pick me up at the auto shop and bring me home and do the job. Joe picked me up as scheduled at 8:00am. The auto shop was super slow on getting the paperwork complete. Joe was calm and said not to worry. He did the job with his helper Steve and did an excellent. Job. They deserve a 10 plus for going out of his way to pick me up and doing a extremely professional job. I had no clean up to do after they left either. I will definitely use them again and highly recommend them.

Had another repair and of course I called JAV Electric. All the lights in the kitchen were acting as though they were possessed and then suddenly went out and the switch that once turned on and off the lights were now controlling the cable box. It was a mess so of course I called Joe at JAV. He came out the very next day (at my request because he would have come the same day if I was available) and he took care of it. He walked us through the problem, checked all the outlets as well and showed us what he did and how it was fixed. I've gone through other electricians and none of them compare to this company. If there were more stars he'd have them all :)
