I just called him for a job to put a voltmeter in a 220 outlet to see if it was hot. Maybe flip a breaker. $125. Like an under 10 minute job. That is his minimum. Short sighted because if it wasn't hot I would have hired him to make it so.

We needed a panel upgrade in Palo Alto, which requires coordination between the electrician, the City of Palo Alto (inspections) and the Palo Alto Utilities. I had trouble getting electricians to work on this, so I pulled the permit myself. Then I contacted several electricians listed here and nobody but Jose made a bid. He did a great job, and was very pleasant to work with. The city inspectors had a bunch of tweaks to the work so it took 2 days instead of 1 but we had power that night and then they finished the next day.

Jose was great. After struggling with technicians sent by our home warranty service, Jose came out and quickly diagnosed the problem. Further, he also fixed an issue we had with our garage circuit breaker box in the same visit. Jose definitely stands out from the other electricians I found in the area and highly recommend him.

I can't say enough about Jose and his guys. The City of Palo Alto dumped an underground utilities project on us with an unrealistic deadline. Contractors the City recommended for the project hadn't heard about it snd weren't interested. We contacted Jose and he took the project on. His work was excellent. He and his team were knowledgable and communicated very well.

I will use them again and recommend them without hesitation.

I heard Jose did good work at a fair price so contacted him. It took several tries just to get him to come over. He agreed to do a small job for us and provide a quote for a big re-wire. He then proceeded to not show up nor call two days in a row after confirming both times he'd be there. I'm now getting no response after several tries to contact him.

Jose was great - responsive, provided a quote and began our EV charger install within days. We were getting really crazy quotes from other five star vendors on Yelp - it seemed like they really wanted to rip us off, such as a $100 charge just to come inspect the job. Jose did none of that and did an excellent job. He even fixed several blown outlets around our house. I would highly recommend Jose again!!

I had 1950s wiring in my Palo Alto home and wanted to install a Tesla Charger. Thank god for Jose and his crew! He provided a competitive estimate for redoing wiring throughout and adding 240v to the garage. Additionally, Jose diagnosed an improperly grounded circuit and returned the next day to install a proper 8' deep grounding wire! Jose showed me all of his work, testing circuits for load and showing highly improved grounding resistance - very important to protect pricy electric cars. Glad to say I've found my goto electrician in Palo Alto.

Jose installed a 220V outlet for me at my house. The job was done professionally and for a very fair price. Afterward there was a problem with another circuit in the house, a wire had gotten knocked loose in the panel, Jose came back and fixed that very quickly. I will call him again.
