Akef is the contact person who had come in after hours to help me unstuck my toilet and charged me a very reasonable price. So, I told him he'd be my plumber for life.

Middle of January 2019, our sink would drain, so I call Akef. He couldn't come in soon enough but give me tips on using vinegar to see if I could unstuck it. I checked in YouTube, and it showed me what and how to solve my draining problem no use. He finally gave me a date. I wasn't there but my caretaker and it seemed like they had solved the problem, until our downstairs neighbor complained that the slug from our pipe has cause their water to back up. The plumber when downstairs and worked on their sink until it was unclogged. They didn't charge me extra, just $99.

But soon as they left, the sink was clogged again. This time they say they would have to used a steamer down the drain because the previous time after they the white waxing substance they say it could be grease. It didn't work. They'll have to come back and get a drill to drill it through. Came with the drill the next day, they brought was not strong enough. They didn't bring a stronger drill because it hit a hard surface. The drill just won't drill through. They thought they'll need to use a camera to check what's in it. The 4th time, Somehow, they say they have a stronger drill to save from cutting through pipes and this time it worked. Downstairs neighbor came up and complained of the same thing. They went and worked on it. It finally drained completely.

I am not a plumber and I can't say whether they should've come in the first time bringing all their equipment and use the strangest drill instead of having to coming 4 times to fix the pipe. Our bill came out $1900. It's supposed to be a deal. At first, I was happy that I could cook and use our kitchen once again, now I am a bit skeptical. I don't know what to think.

I called Mr. Dekoker because the electrical outlet in my patio has not been working for a year, and I was not able to retract the awning which I have over the patio. Much to my amazement he was able to completely figure out and solve the problem on the phone, and the patio outlet is now working again and I can now retract the awning again. Not only did he immediately know exactly what was wrong and instructed me how to quickly fix it he did not even charge me anything for this. Here I thought this might be a complicated and possibly even expensive problem to repair, and he was able to immediately fix it on the phone for free! You can't beat that! He was also polite and friendly and explained clearly to me why the problem occurred. I couldn't be happier with his service, and I very highly recommend James Dekoker Electrical for any electrical problems you may have.

James Dekoker Electrical replaced our outdated luminous ceiling fixtures with canned lights. We went with his recommendation of 2 lights over the sink. Yes... a nice bright workspace. I had six lights placed in the large recess and 4 in the small. TJ and his bro (the electricians who worked on my kitchen) placed the lights in an attractive pattern. Although 12 lights was more than we needed, putting everything on dimmers gives us the flexibility to use super brightness on those occasions when it might be useful. One dimmer switch has a small light in it so it can easily be located in the dark. This keeps us from needing a night light 24-7. James was present monitoring and available for any questions and changes along the way. He was very flexible in adding two outlets at the last minute. I was especially impressed with the nice finish work in the recessed areas - it's paint ready. Dekoker is very punctual, professional, and affordable. Even my husband was impressed. He said, ""that's a lot of bang for the buck."" I really liked the personal attention James Dekoker gave me. We will use him again.

He works with your schedule, comes at a very fair price and makes it as easy as possible for the client in all stages of the job.
His team was courteous, hard-working, and reliable.
The rates were more than reasonable ($60 per recessed lights) , and when there was a problem with the dimmer buzzing, they tried several things (at no charge to me) until they solved the problem.
James stands by his work and I'd recommend him to anyone.
