Nice guy, very polite, and congenial, however, way over the top when it comes to price. He wanted $500 to install a ceiling fan. There is nothing special about the installation. He said to me about himself, ""I'm not cheap"" after I told him that i had gotten a quote for a lot less than what he was quoting.

We've been having issues with panels and lighting fixtures turning off in our home so I asked Jake to come and take a look. He promptly identified the problem, which turned out to be a broken internal breaker (fire hazard) that some previous person had haphazardly put together. Jake was able to get replacement parts and fix the problem that same afternoon. He will definitely be getting a call from us for any and all electrical issues in the future.

Jake is the utmost professional. He comes on time, talks politely, and does the work efficiently as requested. He communicates as needed and leaves your home neat & clean. He happily can recommend other good professionals for other home projects. I had a terrible electrician before that would not show up at all or late and then not do the work up to code. Jake installed three light fixtures in our home and had to redo a lot of the shoddy work left by the other electrician. If I had hired Jake first, I would have a lot less holes in my ceiling!!!

Jake Electric did an awesome job for me. He works clean, focused and is meticulous. He came up with ideas to be ready for future technologies. I have a 1970 house with aluminum wiring. That was no problem for Jake. I highly recommend him and will use him on future projects.
