Well, like many others on this site, my home warranty company (ORHW) assigned this company for my repair. The person showed up and fixed one thing, but then said he needed to purchase and return to install the fan motor for the exhaust fan that was also broken.
Almost three weeks later (and not hearing back from them), I called their business to get a status update - no one answered and I left a VM (that has not been replied to).
Then I called Old Republic Home Warranty. They indicated the service call was COMPLETE, and that as far as the fan motor is concerned, they're not covering it because they're saying it wasn't installed correctly.
HMNN. This is a fairly new home (built about 10 years ago), and the builder installed the fan system. I think this is complete BS.
I also asked why no one at Old Republic bothered to call me and report that they would not be covering this item. The customer service rep was not helpful and I hung up on her.
So this complaint is as much about Old Republic as it is Yaeger Electric.
Both SUCK.

This company is exactly what the reviews say. They came to my house, told me the appliance people had to come remove the oven so they could work behind it with the electric problem that my home warranty CLEARLY LISTED AS A COVERED ISSUE. they asked for the oven people to come so they could work. Oven people came, and when I called the home warranty company, just like everyone else here states, I was informed that they determined it was not covered so they can now try to offer their services out of pocket. First American need to dump this scam company. They take their money and don't do shit. Why would they request the oven to be removed if they ""determined"" it was not covered? So they can try to bank on my inconvenience. Bullshit company, scam. They need to cancel

I used Jaeger that Old Republic Home Warranty sent out. I did not watch electrician over his shoulder do his work. I had multiple outlets out. He said he fixed them. He didn't, they still don't work. Other work was noted as needed to be done. He claimed the existing wiring was out of code for a home built in the 80's. Not possible. So...Old Republic policies are pretty worthless, and Jaeger behavior matches the other 1-star reviews. I think these companies like the easy money to show up and say howdy, don't do any work, and reviews don't matter. As long as they get their $85 (+ the $180 he turned in for ""fixing the problem"") eight times a day driving around, who cares if they don't do the work. Old Republic is fine sending them out everyday to log denials. Old Republic rakes in the premiums, the service companies just roll around collecting the fee and turning in easy denials....so of course Old Republic keeps sending them out...duh.

First American Home Warranty company hired Jaeger Electric Incorporated to service my electrical GCFI outlets and were the worst. They didn't even send me a 15 minutes out estimated time for arrival and when they came the electrician didn't even want to wait 5 minutes for me to get home.
When they did come the electrician checked my breakers and said he was gonna upgrade my outlets. I didn't hear anything back from them they ignore my calls and lied about getting the parts approved then case was closed. So I payed $100 for something I already knew. I hired an outside electrician and fixed it no problem. Don't hire these clowns they are a scam and waste of time. They just want that easy money from the Home Warranty company.

Ther electrician that came out said the fan needed to be balanced & said they don't balance anymore. He said they would replace it, then totally lied to AHS the warranty company & said the fan was had too short of a shaft and was on a raised ceiling the wind was hitting the roof & said it wasn't normal wear & tear & they denied my request. I will never use Jaeger electric because they suck & they are liars. Don't waste your time & money. If you have a home warranty don't use Jaeger electric because they look out for AHS & not the customer

They came to my house for a warrant repair and didn't bother to tell me that the warranty company wasn't going to cover the job. I just sat waiting for a responce and nothing.

A person came to my home from Jaeger Electric and basically told me he had to call my Home Warranty Co., to get authorization to replace my dimmer switch's (which were covered by the way) & come back to install them. Instead, this guy put dirt all over my light switch's & walls, pulled them from the sockets, took pictures, lied and filed a false report to my Home Warranty Co. claiming my lite switches had ""excessive abuse due to beating and banging on them and some other madness. What a jerk! Who does stuff like this ? I told my Home warranty co., he lied. So they sent another electric co., out the next day, and fixed my switches in 12 minutes! DO NOT HIRE THIS CO. I'm filing a report with Bureau of Better Business!!! They never returned the calls from my home warranty co., they deserve a big fat 0! I had to rate them to YELP them.

I can't believe this company is still in busy or who he's paying under the table to keep his business license. This company was assigned to my electrical issue by my home warranty company. He came and while diagnosing the issue, he got shocked!! No gloves, safety goggles or nothing. I asked if he needed electrical gloves and he said no it's ok it's low voltage but it got him pretty good. After that he said he needed to go back to the office and do some research cause he was unfamiliar with the electrical box. He left and never received a follow up, text, phone call or nothing - unbelievable! Will stand clear of using this company again.

My home warranty sent this company to fix a ceiling fan receiving no electricity. This man came and checked it then said he would be back in two days with proper tools to fix, he never came back and even worse closed the ticket as if it was fixed!!!!! Stay away from this company. Charlatans!!!!

I forgot to mention that my home warranty denied the claim, and Jager informed me that it would cost $1795 out of pocket for them to return and repair the outlets. Here's the update: I contacted a local licensed electrician, and he was able to replace and update the outlets and fix the fuse in the electric panel (which was the actual reason behind the non-functioning of outlets) for only $150. I advise you to be cautious while dealing with this company and try to get a second opinion if the coverage is denied
