Contacted them on a Friday afternoon at about 5:30 when my washer started giving me little electric shocks. He came out within an hour and checked out the grounding throughout my house, discovering that it was actually my defective washer cord. I was extremely impressed with his response and his honesty. Because he was already very close by, he kindly did not even charge me for the call. Tell me how many licensed professionals do that these days?! You can bet Jacob's Ladder will be doing my upcoming electrical work.

Got me a quote right away, came out the next day to install a ceiling fan for me after I mucked it up.

I contacted Jacob about giving me a lighting estimate for a small condo complex. The next day Jacob sent me a quote in a text message and I explained to him on three occasions that I needed a detailed quote in writing to present to my HOA to approve the work. I'm still waiting for that quote and my meeting is in two days. I messaged Jacob and told him not to bother sending me a quote because I didn't feel he was being honest and was wasting my time. Jacob responded and said he was very busy and made me feel like other business was more important than my business. I called Jacobs Ladder because the yelp reviews were good and I thought they would do a good job. I don't feel I was treated in a professional manner and I won't be doing business with a company that makes promises they can't keep.

I called about a fussy breaker at 4pm on a Friday and Jacob was at my house in 10 minutes! (To be fair he lives around the corner.) Had a new breaker installed and my heat back up and running in under 30 minutes. So grateful to have heat again during this cold spell and I'd definitely use these guys again for any electrical project!

Jacob and Neal come out to install a new outlet and mount a microwave and were professional and did a fantastic job. Neal was very responsive messaging about scheduling the job and their prices were reasonable. I will definitely look to use them again for future electrical work.

Jacob and Neal are amazing. I have reached out to Jacobs Ladder twice now. The first time Jacob offered the best price and time to fix a photo cell that was out. He was at my house on a Saturday within a hour of me reaching out and had the photo cell fixed in a few minutes. Afterwards, he took the time to look at a couple of more electrical projects around the house and gave me a quote. After a wonderful first experience, I recently reached out again about a bad outlet in the garage the garage door opener was plugged into. Neal was nice enough to explain to me that the issue was not with the outlet the garage door opener was plugged into but probably with a bad GFCI the outlet was tied into. I asked Neal to hold on in coming out as I wanted to replace the GFCI first to see if that fixed the issue. Sure enough, I got a new GFCI outlet, installed it, and presto the problem was solved. Thank you Neal for taking the time to help me solve the problem. He could've came out and charged me a couple of hundred dollars to fix the issue but didn't. I am now a loyal customer of Jacobs Ladder and they will be the first company I reach out to on all electrical needs. Keep up the wonderful customer service Jacob and Neal.
