Needed my wiring for outlets redone so I could replace my dishwasher. Rob was able to set up an appointment within 2 days with one of his guys, Randy. Both gentlemen were friendly, fast, and professional.

Randy was able to diagnose the issue and got in done within 2 hours with no damage to anything. Highly recommend 10/10 - thank you both!

Awful. Sneaky, doesn't communicate, doesn't oversee actual projects and has trainees do work, doesn't understand respectful boundaries for owner's property, shows up to issue instructions and leaves after 10 minutes. Lacks basic manners to announce himself that he is on property (uses alternate entrances whenever possible), won't look owner in the eye and explain process. Employees would park out front and wait for him to show up--sometimes over 1 hour so they could get direction.

Rob and Tom do incredible work and I definitely recommend them. I just installed a new solar system in my house and we had to do a full upgrade of our electrical system and they did it expeditiously and for a very fair and reasonable price. Rob's very knowledgeable and made sure he stayed by my side every step of the way from start to finish and now I'm a new happy solar owner and loving every bit of it. I definitely recommend Jacobs Electric!!

I was very happy with this teams work on my kitchen remodel. We moved hall lights, install puck lights and dimmers, had under cabinet and under kick lighting installed. They were up in the attic in Summer--no joke--and they did a wonderful job for us. The attention to detail was much appreciated, and the lighting and extra outlets make working in our new kitchen a dream. Thank you Jacobs team.

Due to COVID-19 I am reluctant to post a negative review for a small business, but I do not feel that my experience with this business is worth sharing. When my wife called to make an appointment, he told her there will be a $110 house visit fee. Subsequently, on the date he came to our house; the first thing he did was to have us sign a short form and pay the house visit fee in advance. He then looked around to identify the issue, quoted a price, and immediately quoted a 7% or so discount if we pay cash for the future visit. We agreed and he said he will call on Friday to let us know when he will do the work the following week.
Friday passed, the week after came and passed & we heard nothing. My wife called to inquire what happened, but he ignored her calls. Eventually, sensing that he was avoiding us, she called him from a different phone number, and he answered with a surprised tone. His response was ""this is a small job that goes to the back of his priorities and he does not know when he will be able to do it"".
Later that evening I called him, reminding him of our contractual agreement and his duty to fulfil it. I also informed him that on the business card he left us it expressly says, ""Free Estimates"" and that if he cannot do this job in reasonable amount of time, he should refund the $110 we paid him (as he did do any actual work that first time).
His response before hanging up on me was ""Your wife was rude to me and I will never do this job. The $110 is not refundable. That is a waste of my time for a small job. ""I admit, we made a mistake relying on sometimes phony online reviews. We also did not check to see if he had a business license, and to this date there is no address for this business or anyway to know if he is even legitimate.
Do not put yourself in my position to work with this shady electrician. You cannot trust him.
