Company Overview

Tennis Jackson Electric was established in 1949 as a provider of electrical contracting and repair services. We serve various clients, from homeowners to large industrial operations. Our specialization includes the design and installation of HVAC, lighting, and ventilation solutions. Additionally, we offer numerous on-site repair and maintenance services. Jackson Security Services, our sister company, offers gate operators and access control solutions. They specialize in emergency generators, fire alarms, and camera systems. Jackson Security Services stands as one of the largest independently owned security firms in West Alabama.

The business began as an electrical contracting service in the Tuscaloosa region. We added heating and air conditioning services in 1951. By 1954, we ventured into the burglar alarm sector.

Chuck Turner partnered with us in 1972 and purchased the company in 1988 following Mr. Jackson's retirement.

The company has transformed into a full-service provider for HVAC, security, and electrical installations. Our services extend across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. I became a partner and General Manager at Tennis Jackson Electric in 1972, having worked on design projects for NASA and other notable firms.
