I had Jackson Electric do two jobs for me. One - many years ago - was to install a pair of 20 amp circuits in the room I was using for my office. They had to run conduit on the outside of the building, but it was all neatly done and the outlets have given no trouble. More recently I had an intermittent in my breaker panel (due to a ""wafer breaker"") that was causing lights to flicker and they found the problem and fixed it in a few minutes. Highly recommended!

Our building was built in the 70's with old fluorescent lighting, we needed upgraded bright lighting. I found Joe on Angie's list, called the office and asked if they gave free estimates, the answer was yes. Joe came out, suggested what would be best for us, we agreed, he installed new lightings easily and effortlessly. We are very happy with the upgrade, I highly recommend him. The work was completed less than one week from the initial call.

I was under impression that my commercial building, San Diego Pretzel Co. needed to upgrade our electrical panel box from 200 amps to 400 amps.
I knew the smart thing to do was to get at least three estimates. The first estimate came in at $13,750.00. The second estimate said that he was having a difficult time trying to find a panel box that could fit the small outside wall that the current existing 200 amp box was on. He assured me that it was going to be an expensive job. The third and final estimate to arrive on the scene was Joe Jackson Jr. from Jackson Electric. He told me to put on everything we had in the building. I went around hitting every button and lever, switching on our mixing machine, ovens, proof boxes, lights everywhere, even our small toaster oven in the employee lounge. Joe took a reading of all the current running through the building, explaining to me how it all works, and proved to me that my 200 amp panel was more than sufficient. Total cost: 2 boxes and a bag of pretzels which I insisted he had to take home for his family and friends.

I had concerns about an outlet that had recently been worked on by someone (not an electrician). I tried to remove it myself but decided I needed an expert. Since it was after 5:30 pm the first few places I called were not able to help. I then called Jackson Electric and Mr. Jackson informed me he was just leaving for the day but my house was on his way home and he could easily stop by. He arrived in less than 30 minutes, inspected the outlet, put it all back together and assured me everything was fine. I was greatly relieved and when I asked what the charge he told me this one was on the house. I'll definitely use this business when I need electrical work done, and I fully expect to pay something next time! (review written by Mrs. Richard D.)

My neighbor Johnnie had his entire house rewired by Jackson Electric. He recommened them to me and I'm so glad he did. We now consider Jackson Electric our family's guardian angels!! I called Jackson Electric regarding dimming lights and a voltage problem. Jeremy showed up and after a thorough inspection he immediately discovered a very serious problem with the main connection to my house. Several appliance, light fixtures and sockets had already been damaged. My house could've burned down had Jeremy not discovered the problem. They rewired and replaced several sockets and the cost was very reasonable. They were quick and up front with the time and cost it would take to make the repairs. What I most admire about this company is their integrity. I stepped out during the time the work was being done. They were finish before I got back and they refused to leave my home unattened. We had a ton of lights installed in our house they look awesome! They did a great job, in a reasonable amount of time and for a reasonable fee!! My lights are great I love them!! Everyone I dealt with was super nice and easy to talk to and they would listen to what I wanted, but when they thought something else would be better and not be any more expensive they gave really good ideas and I opted to go with what was suggested and I am glad I did!
We liked them so much we had them come back and install more lights in our garage!
We are customers for life!

These guys are rip off artists. They completely botched a very simple job at my Grandmothers home, refused to correct it, leaving a VERY dangerous situation exposed. I would never, ever use these guys! Terrible workmanship and the owner Joe Jackson wouldn't even return my phone calls! Shame on you!
