Matt came out to look at some work that needed to be addressed - basically hook up replacement light posts and install outside light bulbs on dusk to dawn lights. Nothing difficult by his own admission. We were looking for an estimate. This occurred on 1/17/2025 with a commitment to have an estimate to us in our email no later than 1/20. That day came and went with no estimate and no call or contact to let us know status. I called on 1/21 and was told that the office manager was out and that I would get the estimate the next day. Today 1/28 and no estimate or contact. Definitely a huge lack of integrity and customer commitment. I guess the book 'How to Win Customers and Keep Them for Life' has not been read. I thought we could partner with this company as we will have more work in the future, but this ghosting shows they do not care about the customer and there is a lack of dependability, to say nothing about keeping their word. I cannot recommend JR Watkins Electrical.

I hate writing negative reviews, especially towards someone that does good work and does show up when needed.

This one I could not let go!

Matt does quality work, but has really disappointed me in the fact that he doesn't always honor his word.
For a faith based company and how honest Matt seemed to be, I would have never guessed that he would have not payed an invoice that he approved and promised to pay for repairs he caused on a remodel.
Now, 4 months later he refuses to pay the outstanding balance and I have to file a construction lien and a complaint to BBB.

They do great work and always on time! This was for a renovation on my mobile home and we really needed electrical updated.
