Andrew S.I called numerous electricians for quotes to install a 240 (NEMA 14-50) outlet into my garage for my Tesla Model S. The first to come out was Frank Gay who quoted me $7,000! Never use them! They prey on the elderly and those who have no clue. They said I needed a whole new circuit board, plus, plus, plus... Others came in around $700 but would take a week to install. J Hardy came out the same day for the quote and quoted $300! They were able to come out the next day and had it installed in less than an hour. Save yourself the headache and call J Hardy for your electrical needs, especially if you are adding an outlet for your EV. Most electricians are gouging those adding an EV plug these days because the consumer doesn't know any better.
