Joe called me after I inquired online for local electrical professionals. After I explained what I needed and in the middle of deciding when would be a good time to schedule an appointment, he asked if he could call me back and that he would send me an email. I heard kids yelling in the background and figured he was busy at home and needed to check his schedule. I never received an email or a callback. Giving him the benefit of the doubt on professionalism, I called him back the next morning and after a brief exchange there was no sound, as if there was a bad connection, but nobody had hung up. After a few ""hellos?"" and ""can ya hear me nows?"" I hung up gave him a few minutes to call me back and ...nothing. At that point I was thinking this guy is playing games and should just be honest, however I called back one more time, went directly to voicemail and asked him to please call me back. NOTHING!!! Please be advised consumer, this guy is TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL and doesn't deserve your business. I just bought a brand new home and work with the public , many colleagues who ask for professional advise, I will advise to steer clear of this business! One star is too generous, but I had no choice.

Update: if I spoke too soon, I apologize. I'm anxious to get this job done, Joe and move on. Communication is key :)

Let's say I spent a lot of time on the phone speaking with companies.
J Casillas sent someone asap to give me a quote. He very professional taking measurements and notes on ipad and was able to give me quote right then. Then after still had questions and doubts and they were very patient in answering questions on the phone. They installed my 50"" chandelier in a 11+ ft high ceiling room with Lutron technology ( I purchased the Lutron) + 2 ceiling fixtures. It has been over 6 months and I LOVE lighting up my chandelier at least once a week, even if formal dinning room is not being used. Will defiantly be calling them once we are ready for outdoor lighting.

When the general contractor fell through early on during our kitchen renovation I had to figure out plumbing, electrical and drywall by myself, something I had never done before. I searched for candidates on Angie's List, Home Advisor, Google and Yelp. I needed to find someone reliable, professional...and available for an ""emergency"" timeline of less than one week as our already-scheduled cabinet install was only days away. J Casillas Inc was the first to call us back and a representative, Sergio, came out immediately for a free on-site estimate the very same day. Communication with both Joe (the owner) and Sergio (our licensed electrician) was excellent and they followed through with every aspect of the project, fitting us in as soon as possible. Sergio when above and beyond and even the drywaller said the next day how easy his job was because of how efficiently the electrical work had been done, with minimal drywall cutting (despite having to run new lines to the breaker panel, move 7 outlets and close two outlet boxes). The pricing from J Casillas Inc was reasonable and we ultimately had 3 estimates from several electricians. While the estimate for our project remained the same, we added some breaker panel work when Sergio detected safety issues that warranted quick action. When the carpenters arrived a few days later and identified that another outlet needed moving, I contacted Joe and Sergio came out the next morning early to ensure we could continue with the project. If not for J Casillas and Sergio our project would have been stalled--and we are incredibly grateful to them for being solid professionals, excellent communicators and the heroes of our kitchen remodel! I highly recommend J Casillas Inc for any electrical work and look forward to having them back as we continue our full home renovation. Thank you Joe and Sergio!

Very accommodating organization. The crew was here for three days and they worked efficiently and quickly while taking care to protect flooring and furniture. Could not have been more pleased with a project that could possibly have been a miserable experience. Recommend them highly !!!

These guys did a great job. I was having blow outs on certain circuits. They came in rewired my bath separate from my bedroom. They also dug into my electric panel, correcting wiring and cleaning corroded leads. They were professional and fast. I've had no trouble since their visit.

The electrician showed up on time and installed 3 ceiling lights. The work was reasonable quality and he explained in advance that patching and painting weren't included, so all in all a good job.

Called Casillas Electric when my regular electrician was on vacation. Was having problems blowing GFI units indicating a power overload or short somewhere in the system. I scheduled an appointment with Joe and he came out promptly and diagnosed the problem. He said, ""a refrigerator should be on its own circuit and not on a GFI switch"". He set up a new circuit in my panel for my outside refrigerator which solved the overload problem. I later discovered that there was arcing in my electrical panel so I had to replace 2 circuit switches which has completely resolved the issue. I would use J Casillas again if I needed him.

At the time the service was done, I paid about $1300 for refurbishing of the subpanel in my home which I was assured was the source of the problem. I was quite satisfied with the work and the worker and all seemed to be well. I then recommended Casillas to my son for an electric problem in a convenience outlet in his home., The recommended repair was the same as mine: refurbish a subpanel for $1300. This seemed too much of a coincidence. A second opinion from another electric company concluded that the subpanel was just fine as is. The repair to the outlet was done for $200 by the second company. All of which led me to question did I pay for something I didn't need.
