I usually don't leave reviews, but I had such wonderful experiences each time Willie Bell worked on my electrical projects, I have to spread the word. It took me years to find a great electrician, and Mr. Bell is the BEST! Not only is his work product excellent, he is an honest, personable man of integrity. That is hard to find in any industry. He shows up on time and stays until the job is finished. I had a typed list of electrical problems nearly a page long, and he took care of every one of them, including updating all of my indoor recessed lights, outdoor motion lights, electrical sockets, installing new light fixtures, etc. He knows what he is doing and he doesn't cut corners. He's awesome!

As a first time homebuyer it was important for me to find a reputable electrician when the general inspector told me that my home had a dated Federal Pacific electrical panel that was known to be a fire safety hazard. IV Power Electric came highly recommended by a friend as knowledgeable, professional and honest. That recommendation was spot on! Mr. Bell completed a full electrical inspection and was very thorough. Upon his recommendation I ended up replacing my old electrical panel and increasing the amp to 200. Mr. Bell communicated with me frequently throughout the process. From working with LADWP to get the permit, to completing the work, to passing the inspection with flying colors-- Mr. Bell always kept me informed and I witnessed first hand how passionate Mr. Bell is about his profession. He took great care to complete the job safely and professionally. He was even kind enough to make a special trip to the house to explain the panel, how the breakers are set up and suggested next steps for me to take with LADWP. Such impressive customer service! I highly recommend IV Power Electric and I will definitely hire them again in the future.

What floods my mind in a nut shell if you don't read further into my comments: Professional, honest, pleasant with a smile, down-to-earth, and most importantly the operator Willie Bell of IV Power Electric is one who knows the electrical business speaking understandable jargon with expertise flowing like running water not missing a beat. Four in-a-half years ago I initially utilized IV P.E. services sent through the warranty company in which from that time I knew Willie Bell was going to continue to be my electrician. Recently, 3 1/2 weeks ago, I hired IV P.E. to do some work at another house I purchased and I can honestly say he and his team did excellent work over three days in which I'm very pleased [Installed new outlets where none existed and removed/replaced outlets; installed a new circuit board; went into ceiling removing & installing light/vent & heat bathroom unit, fixed non-functional entry switch and installed new junction boxes]. They got right to work and informed me when necessary on what they were doing or as he calls it ""performing surgery"". Mr. Bell is passionate about his work, thus, in turn was passionate about my, the client's property. He recommended necessary upgrades in my interest not just to receive profit but in care for the property and for safety standards. He even offered a generous finance payment plan to make it affordable to me due to high cost upgrades i.e. re-wiring, it's up to me to accept. He will inform you what he will not repair that is caused by his electrical work. IV P.E. estimates and invoices are professional and charges are indeed affordable in which the company is worthy of their fee and I was happy to pay immediately. I highly recommend this company. While my wife was installing the Christmas lights, the electrical outlet in our garage became overloaded and started smoking. Unfortunately this outlet controlled our garage door, porch light, washer and dryer, with all of these items becoming inoperable. I checked Yelp and saw the excellent reviews for IV Power and Electric. I received a callback almost immediately from the owner, Willie Bell. Mr. Bell was very professional on the phone and had an opening the next day. I had called another five star electrician based in Culver City and was turned off by his response, ""I can't talk now, I'm at my kids soccer game. ""
If the game was so important, why are you even answering your phone? Mr Bell arrived within his promised time window, even providing me with a thirty minute courtesy notice. Mr Bell fixed the problem and made the repairs without any issues.
Mr. Bell is thorough, safe, respectful, and a very nice man. His charges are very reasonable considering the amount of work he performed.
I would highly recommend him to family, friends, or neighbors! I am so happy I chose Mr Bell, and not that other five star pompous idiot from Culver City!

I needed some light switches replaced in our bathrooms. I'd bought replacements but they were not the correct model. Willie went and got the correct ones, put them in quickly AND gave us a great price. HE'S ALL THAT AND A BAG OF BLUE CORN CHIPS, ORGANIC!!!;-)

I hired IV Power Electric to diagnose both a faulty Ceiling Fan as well as issue with my recessed lighting. Willie of Power Electric was quick to respond, on time for our appointment, but most impressive was his knowledge and assessments of my immediate and future electrical needs. He repaired what I needed, at very competitive rates, and did a good assessment on my property electrical condition (without pushing for additional services. I highly recommend IV Power Electric and plan to use them again when we expand our home for all our electrical needs.

Willie was referred to us by a plumber (AA Bros Plumbing - also HIGHLY recommend!) who replaced our pipes a few months ago. We are on a time crunch, as our first child is due next week, and wanted to have two light three way light switches and two outlets installed prior to the baby's arrival. Willie returned our call promptly, and offered a great price to complete the work. He also committed to completing the work before baby time - which we very much appreciated! Willie was professional and was prompt in his arrival and efficient in his work. Realizing our time constraint, he brought two assistants to ensure the work was completed in one day. He also called the contractor who was to repair the dry wall, post-electrical install, and ensured he was available to repair the holes as soon as possible, again keeping in mind our time constraint. We would hire Willie again for electrical work!

Willi is amazing!! its $65 for him to come to your location and look at the issue, but the price for his work is very very reasonable better than all the other electricians around the area. Best prices in town and very quick and honest service. I will continue to use him for all my electrical needs.

I have an 1929 house that had never been refurbished since its construction. Willie was fantastic in his knowledge of what needed to go where, which city codes were to be applied, pulling permits, working on time and diligently throughout. The hardest part of going through massive renovations is contractors not showing up. Not only was he always ready to go, but had the common decency to call ahead if he couldn't make it or would be late. Fantastic. The city inspector was especially complimentary of his work, especially given the scope of a full house rewire. Total high recommendation.
