We live out of state and we just flew to California to empty a relative's house that is for sale and will have to do some repairs in the house. We were only there for 6 days and needed to find a handyman quick. Contacted him on a Sunday and gave us a quote after we showed him the pictures for the work that needs to be done. His price is fair. He came on Tuesday and ready to work and he works pretty fast. He even wrapped the fixture when he didn't need too. We had to call him back because we asked him to take down a fixture when we're not supposed to ( that was our bad). He immediately scheduled us on his next availability and came back to put the fixture back. He responds to calls or texts immediately. Will definitely refer him to anyone who needs a handyman.

Now the back story.

Before I purchased my commercial grade NFT Hydroponic system I was assured by the company executive in charge of hydroponics that it was easy to assemble. Do I need any special tools to assemble it? No! Everything you need to assemble it is included, I assembled one myself she said. LOL. I am not a dunce when it comes to handyman type stuff, e.g., hanging a 48"" flat screen, large heavy mirrors, or even patching a wall and painting it to perfection (I worked as a finish painter for my brother's painting contracting business in the Tri-state area in my youth).

I opened the 200 lb. box for my system and took a gander at the 29 page instructions. I immediately called my friend who remodels and builds high-end homes in LA and Orange county's to come over and help me. He took one look and started to laugh and apologized because his answer was no. He assured me that the precision cuts of steel, PVC and a fragile plastic tubing along with the extensive plumbing required was not something he had the time to personally tackle. He assured me that one mistake meant a re-order of the part from the manufacturer. In fact he had to think about the right person in his network he could recommend for the job. But his guys are all busy (and really expensive) so good luck bro!

Day of the job

Isaac called me at 8:25am to let me know that he may be 5 minutes late for our 9am start time. Wow, thank you for the call, no worries, take your time! He was precisely on time. He worked patiently and diligently only taking a few brakes for water and a quick smoke on my balcony. Yet even then he was studying the directions to plan what he had to do next. For the precision cuts? Isaac used his skill saw with a diamond blade. PERFECTLY cut, no issues whatsoever. In the middle of the job Isaac gave me a smile and said that this job was deceivingly challenging! I felt validated. BTY I emailed the executive who told me how easy the system is to assemble to say hat's off to you Karen, you must be a real do-it-herselfer! Karen probably sports a beard, has an appliance repairman ass-crack and could take me 3 out of 4 in an arm wrestle...I digress...

So, long story short, Isaac assembled everything with patience, ease and maximum precision. He even assembled the included pump which was also no easy task and was not even part of the deal! Once assembled and all the plumbing adhesive was dry we took it for a test run. It works flawlessly! Nary a leak, 100% Perfect!!! One other crucial detail is that Isaac helped me customize the dimensions for my space, again not easy.

BTW I took massive action when I realized I needed help and contacted EVERY handyman/contractor on CL and Yelp that services my area. I emailed a pdf of the directions and got many responses...I am so grateful Isaac responded because he was truly the answer to my prayer.
