Greg Irwin wrote me in response to my original review and asked if there is anyway I could give him a chance to redeem his reputation in my eyes. I appreciated his effort and I am aware that we all make mistakes. So I invited him out to the house to do an estimate on our project, which he showed up to this time. He provided me with the estimate in a timely fashion, and we decided to give him a shot to ""redeem his reputation"" and informed him that we would award him the job. From that point forward he refuses to communicate. I would have to send 2-3 emails (over a 2-3 day span) to hopefully get a four word response. After a week of this type of communication we decided to go with another company, as they have been very responsive and professional throughout the process. It appears that Greg is too busy, not sure, but my experience with his company was less than desirable.

I had Greg come in again. First time was for my house and second time for my salon. I'm super satisfied! He is very helpful and wasted no time to put up my chandeliers and track lights and made the place sparkle! Will definitely always be using Greg for any electrical service I may need in the future.

At one time or another we find ourselves in position where we need an electrician and after asking our friends if they know a good honest person that they could recommend someone. Most time the anwser is not really. So you head to the Internet to find a reputable electrician, which I am sure you will find many. But how do we know if our selection is the right one? I turned to yelp and found Greg at Irwin Power & Electric, Greg answered my call right away, which shows me while he is in the field he is still handling new clients needs, instead of us calling leaving a message and never hearing from them again. Well you won't get that when you make your call to Greg. From the onset Greg's service was the best I have ever encountered in my 40 years of dealing with trades people Greg sits on top of my list. If you are looking for a person that is trustworthy, fair, well priced and reliable, Give Greg a call and you won't be disappointed. It's nice to know next time I need an electrician I know who to call. Thanks Greg for a great experience.

Greg is a consummate professional. I can't speak highly enough about Greg and his team. He says what he is going to do and then does it, which is rare in my experience. We have been through many projects and dealt with some of the best and worst contractors and Greg is among the finest in San Clemente. His prices are competitive and he is a great to work with. I will use him again & would highly recommend.

Not sure why my first review got ""filtered"", but suffice to say that I am more than impressed. After spending nearly 3 hours yesterday working on my electric problem, Greg returned first thing this morning with the supplies needed to fix all of the outlets. He explained the situation in terms even I could understand and was incredibly competent (and very neat as well). I am beyond pleased with their service!

What a breath of fresh air! I called to have a chandelier hung and Greg (the owner) was able to squeeze me in the same day on his way home from a big job. He was very professional, knowledgeable and reasonably priced. He informed me that I needed a new dimmer, so he offered to pick one up and install it the next day. He was on time the next morning to install, and he even picked up the light bulbs I needed!

Honest, trustworthy and gets the job done quick...I'm telling you, Greg is a GEM!!!

APRIL 2018 UPDATE
I gave Greg Irwin business myself, and also gave him more business with a family member. That was in 2014 and I don't know what changed, but after 3 phone calls and 3 text messages over a period of several days, I would think common courtesy warrants a return call or text to advise you're too busy and don't have, nor want, the time for another job. I will not refer Irwin Power and Electric again! I turned to another professional electrician who did an outstanding job with my request, and will be giving a positive review on their company. I got a return call the same day, and an excellent job completed 2 days later.

On my way to appt but definitely worth taking the time to highly rate Greg, Irwin Power & Electric. I ran into an electrical problem a couple of days ago with one of my outlets, that eventually could have led to a fire, and Greg showed up on time, professional, very nice man, honest and reasonable prices. He fixed the problem and very conscientious with his work. It's great now having a qualified electrician who I can call when things come up, which they always seem to do being a home owner.
