He gave me a quote right on Yelp, stood by the price, picked up the phone, came out quickly and did the job quickly.
It was a very nice looking install, and his price was comparable to the low ones and half of many. I highly recommend him as he was fast, friendly and did a great job.

Thomas came same day of request within the hour. He was very professional and got straight to the point. I shorted a fuse while trying to install a ceiling fan and he came and fixed it without it costing an arm and leg. I will make sure to use his company for all my electrical needs moving forward and refer him to anyone that may need electrical work done.

Avoid, avoid, avoid. We had a relatively simple project, Where we needed two ceiling fans installed. One of our fans was a haiku fan ($800) which he could not figure out, I'm pretty sure he deliberately broke it to avoid actually installing it,
after he spend 90 minutes trying to figure it out. He said the fan was faulty. I ordered another fan and had somebody else install it seamlessly all that was needed was to read the instructions.

Excellent prompt professional service installation. John is exceptional. He has installed over 4 large chandeliers throughout various rooms in our home. His expertise and advise provided to us is great because our lighting fixtures have unique lighting hangings which required John to make sure the original brackets could support the lighting fixture weight. Everyone compliments how beautiful our chandeliers but without John's exceptional service we couldn't have better lighting. Thanks again! We'll be using Irish Electric for all our electrical installations.

The work John did seems to be fine, and he worked with our schedule, so I am giving him 2 stars, but I won't hire him again. We had him replace our panel and install a light. He didn't tell us he would be leaving a huge mess and holes in the wall, so we were not prepared for that. I think that is something you should explain to customers before starting a job. He also did not label the breakers in the panel, and I had to ask him to come back and do that. It seems like that would be standard protocol for safety and ease of use. My power company came out a few weeks later and said that he did not call them ahead of time like he was supposed to. Because of that, we are getting charged a fee. It's not much, but the Georgia power rep said that all electricians know they are required to call, and it's annoying that we are now stuck with unexpected sheetrocking costs and fees from our power provider. I explained to him that we would not have been charged a fee if he had called as he was supposed to, and he replied ""good thing it's only $20"". That's very disrespectful, and a waste of someone else's money. I do not recommend this company.

Really good when you find an honest and knowledgeable electrician. We hired Irish Electric to remove and replace a broken track light in a kitchen. John showed up on time, was very friendly, professional, and did a fine job replacing the light. The new light we had ordered did not come with the correct lamps so John rescheduled the job to be completed after we received the right lamps. The remaining installation process was completed in short order and we were very happy with the service. We're also happy to highly recommended Irish Electric.

John was on time, clean and professional. He installed the ceiling fan, did some trouble shooting and got the job done in a timely fashion so I can get on with my day.
This was an installation through Amazon and this is the first experience I've had with an ""Amazon"" install. I'm very pleased with it and would recommend Irish Electric without hesitation.

If I could give them negative stars I would. Don't ever call this company, they are rude and just flat put inconsiderate. Unsafe work!

Do not use Irish Electric! Be warned - Take your business somewhere else.
I never write these reviews but this company should not be in business and cannot be trusted. I have used them before so I am a repeat customer but now am feeling very ripped off. I paid to have them come hang holiday lights on our house per an Angie's List special deal.
We tested all of the strands of lights the night before they were set to come. All of them worked plus 5 strands were less than a year old.
First of all, they hung the lights very poorly. The lights were not attached on the corners of the house and were falling off the roof in places. I asked them to hang a green wreath in the eave of the house. They did, but for some reason they wrapped a long strand of white icicle lights around one side of the wreath and it looks terrible.
The lights all worked after they were hung up but a fuse blew at some point when they were hanging them. They said that they tried to fix it, but it wasn't working and only needed the fuse replaced - a common thing with holiday lights. They left saying they needed to be somewhere else with the lights hung but not working. I was in a worse situation now with their service because I had no way of reaching the lights to fix them.
I called their main number and the cell number. I called that number no answer but I left a message. I sent a text and I emailed. They responded with a rude text. This was the text I received from them:
""your lights were installed string at a time they all worvkd they then stopped we don't get paid to repair lights only hang them but being a good company we did try to fix them several times there old and shot you need to buy new lights and pay a second time for us to install them""
I asked them to consider helping me remedy the situation because I have no way of even reaching the lights but all communication has stopped now. I basically paid $150 holiday lights to be hung by an electrician that does not get paid to fix lights (really?) I guess they just hang them in a shoddy manner and don't care that they stopped working when they were still on the job and tell me it is now my problem. I am now in a worse situation than I would be in if they never even hung the lights because I cannot repair the situation. I would upload photos if I could but I cannot on YELP
Don't use Irish Electric!

Irish Electric (John) came to my home on January 6, 2016 to install a ceiling fan for me that I purchased from Home Depot. The fan that was being replaced had been in the home 10 plus years and had begun to droop although electrically it functioned fine. The day John came to replace the fan, I had to work but my significant other (a recent retired Air Force veteran) was at home. The instructions for John was simple, remove old fan replace with new one. The old fan was operated by two switches on the wall, one for the fan, and one for the light. Without inquiring, John disabled one of the switches (for the fan) and turned it into a dummy switch causing the fan to only be operated by the remote that came with the fan. Even the pull string on the fan would not operate the fan. When brought to his attention he said you don't need the switch or the string, you have a remote, use that. In addition to this being wired wrong, the blades on the fan all turn at the same speed which is very, very, slow. No variance in any of the speeds. He also took the fan box, manual, registration card, etc. with him. When I called John so he could come back and make things right (he claimed his work was warrantied for a year) he got very sarcastic and hung up in my face. After one conversation, he would no longer take my calls and would only respond to me via text messages. He would not take responsibility for wiring the fan wrong and was quick to say these fans were made in China, were cheaply made, and that it was the fan and not him. He said this is what happens when we send all out work to foreigners. Despite these comments, he did say that he would come back and repair/replace the fan but would never set an appointment to come back. I was patient with him and contacted him several times over the last couple weeks. He made derogatory comments and attempted to belittle me as the customer. He does not stand behind his work and only focuses on shifting the blame to the fan as opposed to repairing his work. I have been left with a dummy switch on my wall and a $200.00 fan that does not operate properly. I'm literally afraid that his work may lead to something catching on fire and causing significant damage in my home. I have kept copies of all text messages and conversations I've had with this individual. Check Better Business Bureau file!!!
