Ion Electric delivered on low price, high quality, and professionalism. He did all the work to obtain a building permit from the city and the inspection, and did not charge extra for the service.

Also, he would rather run the conduit that will be more hidden from view than an easy direct route.

You absolutely cannot go wrong with Alex. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Starting from the quote, Paul came onsite and gave recommendations on what was the best course of action considering the circumstances. It was clear that he had our best interest in mind, especially with regards to making the best decision for our home in the long run; it wasn't just about the cost or doing what's easiest. We appreciated this the most.

When it came time for the actual work, he took care of everything. He even brought over a generator so we would have electricity while the work was done. The work was done on time. Everything was in great quality.

Alex is the real deal. It's cool watching his brain work when it comes to how he's going to plan a job, and he walks you through everything he'll need to do and why. He's transparent with cost, timelines, potential bureaucratic snags with the city--all upfront. He's easy to reach with questions and follow-up, too.

No surprises and our home's electrical is now rock-solid; we were able to install HVAC after the upgrade and are in a good place to install an electric vehicle charger now, too. I can't recommend Ion enough.

Paul from Ion Electrical provided us with excellent service for a range of electrical work we needed for our home. He answered our initial request promptly by phone/email and was able to fit in a site visit to review our requested work the same day. He answered all our questions thoroughly during the visit and proposed a scope work that was both cost effective and accomplished what we were looking to get done. After we scheduled the work, Ion Electrical provided a quick turnaround for a fair price and left the job site clean.

Ion Electrical Services saved the day... TWICE! Hours before a final inspection for a project in Oakland, some of our electrical stopped working and our project electrician was no where to be found. On a recommendation from another contractor, I contacted Ion and they came out and fixed the problems we had well before the inspection. Alex is very knowledgeable and quick and his pricing reasonable and I would highly recommend him for any electrical work you may have.

On another project we needed to do some electrical repairs and again Alex came out promptly to see what the issue was. He was able to do everything we needed - including installing a new subpanel and updating our existing panel to code all in amazing time. He knew all of the current codes and saved us a major headache of having to go back and forth with more inspectors by being so knowledgeable the first go around.

They arrived at 8am sharp (the time we scheduled) and worked steadily throughout the next two days. They left our condo spotless and moved all of the furniture back to the original place. Very low stress on our end. Their parter who does drywall patchwork came out the same day-- very seamless.

Thus far, we LOVE our recessed lighting. It has completely transformed our living room, kitchen, and master bedroom into newer, fresher, and more usable space. Highly recommended! Recessed lighting is totally worth it-- and Ion electrical does a great job!

I needed some recessed lightning, bathroom ventilating fan and outlets installed in my home. Alex and his crew did an excellent job; they took great care to ensure that everything was adequately covered to minimize the dust and debris and they cleaned up everything at the end of each day. I called Alex after trying to change out a ceiling fan and discovering that the previous owner had wired it with what Alex told me was a thermostat wire. Even though he had planned to have the day off, he made time to come out to my house the same afternoon, fixed the mess that the previous owner had made, and had the new ceiling fan installed solidly and working in about two hours. Highly recommended!
