If you need electrical work done on your home, then look no further then Interwest Electric! I contacted Dean and he worked with me to find an appointment as soon as possible and Frankie was the Electrician who arrived at my home today (he is super professional) and repaired and gave my smoke/carbon and fire detection system the repairs and overhaul it badly needed, and in less than an hour. Interwest Electric is super professional, fair pricing, and has the highest respect and concern for safety in all the homes they work in.

I am extremely pleased with my decision to go with Interwest Electric for a repair on my home. Dean replied to my original Yelp request within minutes, and called me in the morning to schedule an estimate for the work. He showed up to my house exactly on time, followed social distancing guidelines with a mask, and was able to give me a very fair quote and timeline. A few days later Dean and crew arrived on time and completed the job quickly and efficiently. They repaired an old weathered post on the roof that connected power lines to an addition on my home. Not only did they install a new pressure treated post, but they removed the old one and patched up the hole. I will definitely be using them in the future.

Just had another great job completed on the wiring in our house by Interwest. Jose essentially rewired our 1950's garage. It's so nice to have all the light switches and plugs work - not to mention the piece of mind knowing the wiring is now safe. Had an unrelated issue yesterday evening, and left a message to call me in the morning. But, actually, Jose called me on the way home, and stopped by yesterday after 5pm to see if he could solve it. Unfortunately, it was more than he could handle himself. So, he and Dean revised his schedule so the could come first thing this morning to take care of it - which he has. Thanks again, Dean and Jose for such great service.

I'm so glad I found Interwest Electric. Frankie and Juan Carlos were very professional and went above and beyond meeting our needs. I have an older home and they were able to correct a lot of issues with the switches and wiring. They even offered to install some additional recessed lighting in our kitchen the same day. I am very pleased with the electrical work that electricians from Interwest Electric did at my new house (hanging a chandelier, changing out light switches and dimmers, replacing recessed lights and under-cabinet lights, replacing smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, etc). I searched quite a few electricians across San Diego to install two ceiling fans and hallway lights. Interwest's prices were by far the best. After talking to them on the phone and since the Yelp Reviews were really good we decided to go with them and I am glad we did. Jose and Luis were awesome! They were quick, efficient, and professional. They made sure everything was cleaned up and made sure we checked before finishing. They were patient enough to let me ask questions to learn a couple things myself. They also gave us recommendations on future projects around the house.
I will definitely use them in the future and recommend you use them too.

We have used Interwest Electric for all our electrical needs for over 30 years and they are the best in the business. We recently had LED lights installed throughout the house and we had a problem with the kitchen lights causing RFI issues whenever the over the air antenna was turned on for the local channels. After some research, we found that the kitchen 6"" LED's were not FCC compliant, Reg. 15 and Dean changed out the LED's to another brand and the problem went away. I researched the specs on the new brand of LED's and it is FCC compliant. They have found some anomalies in electrical work done by previous contractors and corrected them. The staff is professional, well qualified and responsive.

Needed a ballast on my kitchen light replaced. Sent them an email Sunday night, they sent me a reply immediately to call the following morning. Called Dean the owner Monday morning and he set an appointment for that afternoon. He came replaced the ballast in less than hour and now I have light. Thank you Dean.
