Recommended Customer Reviews

Found Intelectric on Angie's list & hired them to rewire a building.
Their pricing was reasonable & we were very pleased with their work.
Our job was done on a fixed price bid, and even thought the project ended up being more effort than expected, company still went the extra mile to do work correctly & thoroughly.
Crew was always on time, professional, knowledgable & thorough.
I recommend them highly.

I had a hard time deciding between 2-stars and 3-stars. There are some good things about this company, but in the end I can't give a good score because two very expensive service calls later, my problem still exists despite throwing over $2000 at it.
About three years ago, a sep-pump for the add-on of our house died. We called both a plumber and Intelectric. The plumber came out and installed a brand new sep pump. They highly suggested that we have the electrician install a direct power supply line with a dedicated switch. When the Intelectric electrician arrived, his suggestion was to add another circuit to that part of the house so the outlet could be dedicated to the sep pump. I agreed to his suggestion, and It worked for about a day and a half before it blew the circuit. Then we got a rush of sewage all over the floor AGAIN and couldn't use that room AGAIN. I had the plumbers come back out and they dug the pump up and said that it tested out fine, meaning that the issue was with the circuit. So I once again called Intelectric for service and after they finished it worked again... this time for just a half a day.
No matter what outlet I plug into, the trips it instantly. It's utterly frustrating, because we have been unable to use this space as we had envisioned. Perhaps there is a voltage cap or current issue here, but I would hope that the electricians would recognize that problem. Perhaps there is some other issue, but I would hope that between two electrician visits and two plumber visits that it would be resolved. Plenty of people in this area have the same system and it doesn't trip every time. Ours didn't trip for over a year, but has been trouble since.
On the positive side, the two electricians were very nice and seemed skilled at the hands-on aspects of their craft. On the negative side, I'm very disappointed that the problem has not been fixed despite the number of visits. I'm generally a pretty easy going guy about things and give a lot of leeway. But after a second unsuccessful and expensive house call, my patience is exhausted. I'm done with Intelectric and am a little hesitant to trust Angie's list for the next company we choose.

Intelectric is awesome!!! From the moment I contacted them I was greeted with a friendly professional human voice..(thank goodness not a recording).
They came out on time, had very neat technicans who were very knowledgable and explained the whole process. I did not once feel I was being taken advatage of (as women). Intelectric came highly recommended through the Culver City Chamber of Commerce as well as my daughters school group email.
Pricing is reasonable and fair! I am referring them to all my friends and family!!! Simply the best in the West!!! Great Job Guys ;)

If I could give 0 stars I would (believe me, I tried for 5 min to unclick that 1 star). Not only did they want waaaaaay too much for work on my new condo at the time in Culver City, they asked for a $250 deposit to inspect the premises, even though I already had an inspection done by the city. But I naively thought, whatever, and like an idiot I paid it, by check no less! If I had done credit, I could have have contested it. They do take credit, so use that in case you read this and still use them.
When they came out, they quoted me for a bunch of stuff that I didn't need (including $125 for ""troubleshooting balcony light switch""; the balcony lights are controlled by the building, not by me), citing that the city of Los Angeles requires these things. The condo was in CULVER CITY and had no such requirements. So unless these guys had magic re-zoning abilities, I was having none of it. When I told them I wanted/needed only certain items on their total quote, they were insistent that I take the full quote of over $3500, holding my deposit hostage if I did not use them. Apparently, their quote constitutes a ""contract"", (one I never signed, by the way), and according to them my deposit is tied up into this ""contract"". They did respond to my attempts to compromise, but they continued to be unreasonable about the services they wanted to charge me for, bottoming out at over $1000 of unnecessary services.
In the end, I forfeited my deposit out of principle, and ended up using another electrician who charged me half the price for the same services I had requested without the pushy salesman tactics. I'll admit, I was a fool and they took advantage, so in essence, they earned their money. Call it tuition for a life lesson.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Intelectric is the Best in the West!!!
From the moment I called the office and I was greeted by a friendly professional voice I knew this company already stood out from the rest!
The techincians are highly professional, clean, & accurate with their knowledge of electrical.
Coming from a family of electricians I know quality work and they got it!
After meeting Mitch I found he has serviced the westside area for years and helped many of my friends as well.
I did my research before I called and I was very impressed with the experience Intelectric had under their belt.
Many other shops are out to make a buck, this company is out to meet your electrical needs & make sure you are safe! Good Job Intelectric.

In short, they do careful, clean and good work at a fair price. I did not say cheap, but I did not say expensive either. They untangled a set of electrical connections that were half working and half not working due the previous owner's screwed up wiring between two apartment units. It was time consuming. Their technician was an ace, and very patient. I had a billing issue with them which was resolved to my satisfaction. Just ask upfront what if any fees come with the repair visit, estimate, or follow-up repair work.

Wonderful customer service! They really helped me out when the vent above my stove stopped working. Turned out the filter was badly clogged with debris - from the roof! - and just needed cleaning. Then when one of my smoke detectors just would not stop 'chirping', and I didn't know who to call, I called Intelectric again.
No advance notice or appointment and I was already late for work - but they sent someone over immediately and solved the problem. Anything electrical, now I know who to call! My next project will likely be upgrading those smoke detectors to the now-required smoke + CO2 alarms.

I wanted to post for these great guys again, as we just finished (finally) the master bathroom and needed some additional outlets. I called them back in and they remembered us! That really was a great feeling, and said a lot to me about their service. (silly thing really, but good CS goes a really long way with me) They were on time, got it done quickly and without any mess, and at a very reasonable price. They ARE my go-to electricians - I will use them every time!

I would highly recommend this company if you have any electrical needs especially on the commercial side. We hired this company to replace an electrical panel that was cited by a city inspector for corrections and they made it extremely easy for us to get this job done and pass inspection. They even coordinated the entire job meaning I did not have to deal with the inspector at all, they did all that. They came out the same day I called them, they completed the entire job within one day and with minimal interruption to my business, and their staff was very professional and efficient throughout the process. It is always satisfying to see people take pride in their work and that is what I perceived working with Intelectric -- highly recommended

My sister referred Intelecrtic to me. I must say A+++++ I have to disagree with David, they didn't try and sell me anything I didn't need. I got 3 quotes from various electricians and Intelectric was the best quote that I received. Works were pleasant, clean and on time. I would def. use them again and also referred to all my family members..
