So I am in the middle of a backyard deck/balcony rehab.
We did a complete tear down and rebuild , and I was in need of an electrician. I found Walter here on Yelp...the reviews he gets which were all good were spot on. Walter took care of our 8 can lights with two ceiling fans and ran a new switch/dimmers for everything . He was very courteous as well as willing to work with my schedule. Very satisfied with the work completed and at a very fair price. I will be definitely use Walter's service in the future.

Walter is one of those rare gems .. an honest, very capable, reliable contractors, who is very committed to delighting his customers.

Recently, we ran into issues with our fountain in front of our home. Using Youtube videos, my wife and I successfully replaced a pump at very low cost. Unfortunately, while we were careful to properly waterproof our splices, the fountain began tripping a GFI circuit. We know that when you are dealing with water and electricity, hiring a competent electrician is extremely prudent, both to assure a good repair, and to stay safe.

I described the issue to Walter over the phone, and he immediately proposed a course of action, so that we would not be over-spending if a more basic repair would prove adequate. He quoted reasonable prices for his work, so we decided to schedule an appointment.

He communicated properly, arrived with a mask for pandemic protection, and went right to work. He had the proper equipment and was able to confirm that it was indeed the GFI (and not the fountain unit) that needed replacement.

We felt very comfortable with him, and discussed some future projects that we will want to do, after we have completed interior decorating. I am very confident that he will do a fabulous job for us when he returns, based on this experience, and those of our fellow Yelpers. Hire him!

Walter answered my call immediately and even with some signal problems got back to me within minutes. It was late in the evening but he was happy to come out and assess the issue within half an hour. Resolved what he could to get us up and running (there was a secondary issue that needed other expertise). Reasonable service fee especially for an after hours call. Walter is as great as it gets! We found him here on Yelp and we hired him to install a few can lights in our 60-year-old house (yikes, right?!) and he did such a great job maneuvering between extremely small crawl spaces, our attic, in between drywall, etc. You wouldn't believe it. The best part, he was sensitive to our budget and worked with us every step of the way.

He gave really good advice and was knowledgeable about what we needed to do to upgrade our panel (which was necessary because of the age of the house) and even recommended switching out our old bathroom electrical wiring to be able to handle an 1800 watt blow dryer, which our bathroom would not have been able to handle.

He helped turn our old home into a smart home by recommending products that worked great for us, including smart dimmers and switches. He installed our dining room light, lights in our bedrooms and bathrooms, and pretty much everything in our house that had to do with electrical work.

Our A/C stopped working one day after my husband installed our Google Nest thermostat and Walter came by and helped us get it up and running. He had to climb on the roof and check out the wiring, etc. He totally hooked us up.

If you're looking for an honest, friendly, and skilled electrician, look no further than Walter. You won't be disappointed.
