Rudy from Innovative Construction & Electric did a great job. He is very friendly and professional. He gave us a great price and came out on very short notice. I would hire him again and would also recommend his company.

A year ago I had Rudy of Innovative Construction & Electric perform an estimate to replace the floors in the living room & kitchen, the price that I got was fairly reasonable but unfortunately I have chosen another contractor that was $2000 cheaper.
Since I have chosen another contractor, I've had nothing but problems. My floors are already showing signs of wear and tear from all the foot traffic that goes on in the house, the seams of the laminate are starting to swell and chip off from pet damage around my dogs feeding bowls because they tend to spill their water and a few pet accidents around the house.
I have tried numerous times to contact the contractor but unfortunately he has not made any attempt to reply to my messages.
I called Rudy of Innovative Construction & Electric back to do another estimate to repair all the damages in my home. Rudy quoted the same price that he gave me last year and explained that the other contractor was cheaper because they used a very cheap laminate floor and because I keep my pets in the house, the other contractor failed to glue the seams in order to protect the wood from absorbing liquid from accidental spills or pet accidents.
During the walkthrough with Rudy in my house, He has made a lot of suggestions that made sense.
1. remove the pony wall that separates the kitchen from the living room. It will help make the living room appear larger and my father will have an easier time to roll up to the dining table in his wheelchair.
2. Replace the entire laminate floor with a dark colored tile. Because tile is a lot more durable than laminate flooring. Especially with all my kids running around and the kind of toys they play around the living area.
3. Replace the kitchen counter tops with a semi-dark colored granite, because he noticed that I'm having problems with stains between the grout lines of my old tile counter tops.
4. Sand and refinish my kitchen cabinets with a type of dark cherry color to help all the colors from the floors, cabinets to counter tops flow together.
After the walkthrough with Rudy, he contacted me a day later with a very reasonable quote that I couldn't pass up.
And yes I did contract Rudy to re-renovate my home with the suggestion that he recommended.
It's been a month since Rudy has finished the renovations to my home and I have to say that my living room to the kitchen looks like it came off a page of a Home & Garden Magazine . The colors from the floor tile to the kitchen flow very well. My Father now has an easier time going into the kitchen with his wheelchair. As for the kitchen.... Oh My God!!! The amount of work that was put into the kitchen and the attention to detail that went into refinishing the cabinets, choosing a shade of cherry that would compliment the granite counter tops and floor tile is just simply a good trained eye for detail.
Rudy of Innovative Construction & Electric may be a young contractor to the industry but he comes with fresh ideas and the hunger to work and produce innovative results. I would definitely recommend Rudy for any job whether its simple or intricate... He Will Get It Done With Great Results!!!

The owner(Rudy) of this company is the master of manipulation. He will come off extremely pleasant and caring but beware it is a front.
We hired him to work on our home with services including anything from granite installation to painting to tile flooring and some electrical work and plumbing. First off you should know that he is very inexperienced even though he will tell you he has eight years experience. It took him 5 weeks to work on our house(two weeks past schedule) and in each area of our home that he worked on/touched he ruined something and left a giant mess for us to clean up.
Do not be fooled by his debonnaire because he does not care about you - after he was done we hired some of his contracted help (that we liked) to correct the problems he made and we were informed about all the corners they were asked to cut to get the job done. We are still finding problems and it has been three weeks since he finished. We paid him in excess of $21,000 and still had to buy our own supplies which we have an extra $500 dollars of tile leftover because he miscalculated(again lack of experience) and along the way he would constantly come up with more things to add to the bill or try sell us more services and say stuff like - ""I am just looking out for your investment"" - like a used car salesman trying to sell you a sunroof - Don't be suckered!
I know many people complain just to complain however I am a self employed individual and am a firm believer in customer service and being forthright with people. I would hate for anyone else to have to deal with the anguish we did. If you use this company on any level or any project I am certain you will be completely disappointed.

We found this company on Craigslist last February when looking for a company to mount a 60"" flat-screen TV in our living room, install an AV receiver and Blu-ray player in a wiring closet about 30' away, install HDMI wiring from the closet to the TV, and program a Harmony remote to easily control everything. Not only is the owner an audio-video specialist, he is also a licensed general contractor and electrical contractor. We called on a Saturday evening, and within an hour he was at our home. After some discussion, we also decided to move some electrical plugs, AV and data wiring previously installed when we built our home, and install new in-wall speakers and subwoofers, which required cutting holes in the living room wall. The owner did all the work, including installing new sheetrock, texturing to match the rest of the custom-textured wall, and painting of the textured areas. You cannot tell anything was altered from the original construction. He did an excellent job! He was very organized and efficient in the time spent, and his charges were reasonable (in the beginning, he gave us alternative detailed written quotes of equipment and labor to do the job.) Since the original job, we have hired him for two additional projects at our home, with the same excellent results, and we are about to have him do another project. Additionally, we have referred others to him who are starting AV projects. We highly recommend this company and the owner!
