Dong and his crew are fantastic. We initially contacted him to install recessed lighting and an outlet. We had just bought a house, and between first contact and our appointment a week later we found several oddities that we hoped he could address. Dong was nothing but professional, proficient, and friendly. He helped us with our initial request and so much more. When he drove away several hours and tasks later, our house was better lit and far more functional than he had found it earlier that morning. I highly recommend Innovation Electric for any electrical work you may need and wouldn't hesitate to reach out again should the need arise.

Dong Was a pleasure to work with. He was very responsive over Yelp in answering my questions. He was able to come early and work around my schedule. We did an install for 2 220 plugs in my Garage for my EV plug (and another for the future) The job was amazing and was really quick. Would definitely use Dong again and would highly recommend.

Very poor Communication and un-willing to schedule a day and time to come out for a consult. I contacted innovation Electric on 10-13-21. Dong L. responded asking me to call him the next day. Unfortunately phone service does not work well in my area so Messaging would be best. For some reason, he didn't understand this, and said ""you can txt to my phone"". If phone service for me does not work all that well, txting is the same. I have good internet, but it does not connect to my phone all that well. At this point, I had not given him my address, and his response was that I was ""A little far for him"". He showcased his business goes all the way out to Vegas, and he is in the upland area, Im about a 45 min drive depending on traffic. He said that he ""needed more info what the issue first before making the trip"". I told him that is was a Full panel install and replacement. and that it was to much info to type. Up until today, when I re-contacted him (11 days later), I did not hear from him after that. After Checking in, He said ""Please send me your address so whenever I am in the area, I can keep you informed"". I sent him my address and told him I preferred to actually schedule a day and time to come out."" Im not going to, nor should I have to wait however long it would take for him to ""be in my area"" and him just drop by last min when he has a chance. That is highly un-professional. He obviously does not want to do the work. His response was ""I am sorry because my schedule is full"". Highly doubtful! Since he is un-willing to schedule consults, I highly doubt he has any work. Dont waist your time because he will only waist yours!

Update: After Posting my review, Dong L. messaged me saying that I ""mis-understood his message, saying he could come by at the end of the week. I re-plied saying no thank you, stated what I mentioned above, and told him good luck and said no need to reply. He still replied trying to change what he said, and explain his side. He then messaged again saying he would make the trip up today. I message this at close to 11am, and he was at my gate at 12:11pm. I did not respond to his message prior to him saying he was here, didn't ask him to come up, but he showed up anyway.

When I got to the gate, he was very apologetic. I let him know upfront that even though he came up, I was still not happy, and there was a good chance I was still not interested in his service. However Out of respect for him showing up, I would give him a chance. I showed him the work I needed done, he seemed fine with all of it up until he was getting ready to leave. At which point, he said the scope of work was to much for him, that I needed a bigger company and that he could offer references to other companies that might be able to do the work. So all though I appreciate the fact that he came up (again, I did not ask him to, nor wanted him to at the time of messaging), he is not capable (by his own admission) to do the work, their for wasting my time. So if you have a Very small Electrical work done, maybe contact him, otherwise, My 1 star review still stands and I would not recommend him.

Dong and his team are outstanding! After a prompt response combined with an accurate and fair estimate the work was scheduled and completed on time. The team was professional and polite. They paid attention to detail and communicated effectively to ensure the project was completed to our satisfaction. We highly recommend this business!

Dong installed our string lights in the backyard and they came out perfect!! He also added a light switch for convenience! His work is very clean and detailed. He is also very professional, helpful and responsive. We love our lights! Will definitely be working with him again for future needs!
