If you like your home- don't use them! I should have checked YELP before I hired them. The work was shoddy. And they made my house worse. While working on the desk, the guy had an air compressor. I did not realize it until he left (probably because there was wood and saw dust everywhere), I saw oil splattered on my nice composite deck. I called them back and told them about it. They blamed me and well, I know I did not have oil spots on my deck. I am furious at they way they handled this. BEWARE!

This review is not about the quality of their work or pricing. It is about the reckless driving of one of their employees. I tried to contact the owner, left a message with a woman in the office who seemed very concerned. The owner never contacted me to get any details. This incident involved serious tailgating, speeding/weaving dangerously through rush hour traffic and driving through a red traffic signal that had been red long before it was ignored. This really makes me question the integrity of the owner, his company and operation. I have a sister in law that will be crippled the rest of her life as she was broadsided at an intersection by an employee of a construction company who ignored a traffic light. I would think that an employer would be much more concerned about how his/her employees drive company vehicles......

after interviewing several of the local contractors i have found ic to be the most professional and inexpansive. they fixed my piping problems, patched up all the holes, and reinstall my carpet for an affordable price. talk to andrew and pablo, they will solve ur problems at a cost you can afford if not they will try to beat it.

I hired this company to do a three weeks job at home. Six months later I had to hire other people to finish the project. They just worked for a couple of weeks and never returned again. They kept my wife and me living in a mess for six months! I called them, email them, beg them to come finish the job but never showed up again.
Not only they are unprofessional and disrespectful, they are also greedy. Despite all the trouble they caused, despite they did about half of the job and were paid about 70%, despite we begged them come finish the job, they sued us for the remaining 30%.
As we hired other company to finish the job the entire thing ended up being significantly more expensive than we expected. Now add legal costs and 5 months without a decent place to live.
Beware of this people, specially Andrew...stay away!!!

I hired this company to do carpet steam cleaning at my place. They did an awesome job. Showed up on time and finished everything taking less time than promised, but not compromising the quality of their service. Excellent customer service, great job! Will absolutely use them again!

We had Innovation Construction replace a door and had a very bad experience. In 3 long visits, they did not succeed in installing the new door (no complicated job), but rather kept increasing the damage done both to the new door and the existing surroundings. The manufacturer's rep finally had to fix the mechanism, and we repaired and finished the trim ourselves. In addition, the job was done 10 months after the contract, instead of the promised 2 months. Aside from the demonstrated incompetence, the worst was that IC's owner kept refusing responsibility for delays, damage, and unprofessional work. Instead he audaciously and unjustifiedly put a lien on our property, de facto suing his customers for his firm's mistakes.
Based on this impression of late, incomplete, unprofessional work and aggressive behavior, we strongly recommend AGAINST using this firm. (Also check out the filtered Yelp reviews - not all glowing. Wonder why IC is primarily listed in Michigan...) Never again IC!

A few days ago we had some windows replaced at a rental property. My husband was present during most of the time and has been the point person for this project. He said he was very disappointed as far as the workmanship of the two men on the job.
Rather than removing one window and replacing it at a time, they took out both windows as well as the sliding glass door that was being replaced first and then proceeded to replace them. They were there from 9am until well after 6pm. Upon completion, they asked for the final payment, the tenant mentioned that the screen door for the slider had not been installed. The workers said that the door did not come with one. The tenant then called my husband who instructed the tenant to not hand over the final payment until the screen door has been installed. At that point the workers went and got the screen door and installed it. I think that is extremely unacceptable to not be truthful about something like that.
In addition, the weather was cold and windy making the house very uncomfortable for the tenants while this work was being done. Because both windows (large) and the door were removed, and because of the wind, leaves and debris were blowing through the house. They were very messy and left most of the clean up (both inside and outside...they smashed up the glass in the backyard right outside of the back door) to the tenants, also unacceptable.
Once my husband heard about this in the late afternoon and that they were still not finished yet, he called Andrew to express his concerns. Andrew assured him that he would head over to the site immediately and follow up with my husband. My husband has yet to hear from Andrew.
In today's environment, where customer service is what it's all about, your company fell extremely short. I know that we have about 3 more windows to replace in that house.....I am sure that we won't be calling you back.

Run! I wish I could give the 0 stars. This company is probably the WORST I've ever dealt with in any business or service capacity. Ok, any capacity ever. As someone else said.... where to begin. I'll start with the first lie on their part. When Kris was giving me the estimate he was promoting the 30% tax rebate. I asked him if he was SURE I 'd get 30% back even if I didn't have to pay taxes that year . (2010 Due to unemployment, I was 90% sure I would not have any taxes to pay.) He told me that even if I didn't pay taxes, the government would send me 30% of the cost of the windows. He never doubted what he said. He never advised me to check with a CPA. (Ok, hindsight is 20-20.) Now, that my CPA did my taxes, I found out what he told me is a lie. I probably would not have spent the money if I wasn't going to get 30% back. Then on to the bigger problem. I wanted more energy efficient windows (and my 30% tax refund) . We talked about different models. I kept asking about the quality of the glass, etc. I told him in no uncertain terms my view was VERY important to me. (My house has 40 feet of glass western facing so I can see the bay, or used to be able to. I bought it for a reason- view.) While in the process of ordering the windows, I felt the secretary was calling me in an obsessive way- seriously 3x a day. I do return calls within 24 hours. I told her that her calling was too intense and she told me her boss demanded she keep trying to reach the client. Flag number one. Three people showed up the first day and the second day they sent one guy. I thought the laborer worked well, but he needed help to get the job done on time. As he didn't finish (because of no fault of his) the company made him work on Christmas Eve. ( I really thought that was culturally inappropiate.)
Then the first day the windows are installed, I can't see out of them!!! Seriously, the condensation was so extreme on the windows I sent a picture to Andrew. He told me it was called dew point and it is ""very rare"". I was the ""second"" customer who had mentioned it. He assuered me it would only happen - maybe 4 or 5- times a year. I was not very trusting of them at this point, so I asked for the number of the Milgard rep. When I spoke to Dennis H., who I felt was honest, he told me dew point is common. He said it happens in certain conditions with all brands of windows---- with this low-e type of glass and gas. I asked him if it was ""very rare"" and he said no. He told me he advised builders to think twice about using this product if view is very important to the client. I asked him approximately how many clients have mentioned dew point occuring and he said about 30%. Not what I would call very rare. I asked Innovation about putting my old windows back but they had been hauled off the first day. I asked about them attempting to correct the situation by installing a window that wouldn't have the intense dew point issue and they told me they would have to charge me for more windows. I feel my house has been devalued by these scan artists.

EDIT: Where did all the negative, sadly and most likely truthful, comments go???
Not sure on where to begin? Contrary to what someone else wrote here they became very expensive for what was not a lot of work which was also not done very well.
My biggest complaint is that they messed up the wiring and insisted it was I who went behind their backs.
I am terrified of working on high voltage systems. What they did was get the power down stream of one switch and went into another switch, so I had to turn one switch on, turning on lights I did not want on, to get the lights I wanted on, on.
EDIT: We already have spent much time on the phone. Nothing you do or say will make me change my rating of you.
Seriously. To put a switch downstream of another switch and say it was me who did it... I was the one who actually stood up for you guys against my girlfriend. Install six can lights using mostly existinng wiring, replace the hardware in the shower, replace seven non GFI with GFI outlets, for six grand. The four or five no shows, where either I or my girlfriend missed work to meet you. Having to replace all the locks because we don't trust you, because you could never come up with the key we gave you.
Yes, I think of you that poorly, but I wish you the best.

They did a great job giving us two new windows. There was a hiccup at first, when the city would not allow the vinyl windows Innovation had quoted, and instead required more expensive fiberglass. After a little back and forth, Innovation agreed to pay for the difference in price. They were then thoroughly professional, did a great job, and we are happy with our windows. I would recommend hiring them, they're fast and efficient and this case shows they are also flexible and reasonable. Oh, and their prices are great!
