Company Overview

Industrial Electric Testing was established in Florida during the autumn of 1987 as the testing branch of Industrial Electric Construction Company. After purchasing Industrial, James T. Hill, the Chairman and Owner of IET, turned it into an independent testing organization.

As a full member of the InterNational Electrical Testing Association (NETA), IET is part of an ANSI standards body that includes independent electrical testing firms from North America and Canada. IET functions as an impartial test authority, thanks to its full membership in NETA, remaining independent of manufacturers, suppliers, and installers of the evaluated equipment or systems.

The headquarters of Industrial is located in Jacksonville, Florida, catering to the northern, central, and western areas of Florida, as well as southern Georgia. We have maintained a branch office in Hallandale since 1994 to serve the southern part of Florida. With a professional workforce, we ensure that all projects are completed in a timely and expert manner. We offer emergency services to all clients 24/7, 365 days a year.

At Industrial Electric Testing, we use only test equipment that is in top mechanical and electrical condition. All testing instruments are kept calibrated and maintained within their rated accuracy, with precision traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology. IET documents any defective system, material, or workmanship identified during acceptance or maintenance tests, keeps a written record of all tests, and compiles and certifies a final technical test report.
