Recommended Customer Reviews

Worked with Indoor Comfort as part of our home warranty. I was initially startled at the less-than-stellar reviews, but I went in optimistic. I could not have been more wrong. I am incredibly disappointed at the lack of professionalism, follow-thru, and ultimately their ability to assist us. The first technician that was sent out to us, Tim, who could not find anything wrong with our A/C unit, literally threw his hands up and told me ""well, it's hot outside, your house is gonna get hot."" The second person that was sent out, Tom, was excellent. He diagnosed the problem immediately and reported his findings to his office manager. The manager, after us being told that they'd submit their claim to our warranty ""before the end of the day,"" never did so, after multiple calls on my end, and multiple follow-ups from our home warranty. When I would speak with someone on the phone, I was met with ""I'm sorry, I'll send a message to my manager."" I don't fault the receptionist, but someone... anyone needs to teach this manager that their customers expect some type of followup. None of my messages (over two weeks) were returned, and my home continued to bake. There was zero attempt to reach out to us ever.
Our home warranty company, as fed up as I was, finally pulled the plug on them, and we had to start the process all over again with another company.
My final thoughts: if you do work with these folks, request Tom, you'll like him. Then... open up a cold drink... it's gonna be awhile.

Hours late to the first appointment. No showed for multiple appointments afterwards. Ordered the wrong size window unit replacement. Excuse after excuse. Impossible to get anyone to answer the phone...forget about getting a call back.

they came to service my air conditioning over a month ago, the service person said that there are things that need to be fixed and that he would go and write a order and someone will come fix it. I have been calling them now for almost a month they have never answered my calls. they never answer their phone. left at least 10 messages still have not herd from them.

Would HIGHLY suggest seeking out a different business. Very unprofessional from the time you call in to the technician that does the service. Poor communication, high turnover, zero accountability, and no customer service. It always sounds like they're struggling just to complete simple tasks and things always seem thrown together. It almost doesn't even feel like this is a legitimate business as employees take calls from their homes, no one can find paperwork, etc.. Everything requires two and three calls at the minimum, then they have to check with someone else, they have to get back to you, etc.. They don't know how to do warranty paperwork or work with warranty companies and to make matters worse, the unit they finally repaired (which should have been replaced and took hours of my time in just doing their work) is broken again a few months later. So I'm right back where I started after spending all that time and tons of extra fees and charges that mysteriously weren't covered by my warranty. They are very concerned with getting paid and that seems to be about it. I'm sure working with home warranty companies can be challenging at times but I have never experienced such a time consuming and frustrating situation. Now, I get to do it all over because my unit doesn't cool again ... less than 60 days of use. Save yourself the hassle, find another business and if you have a home warranty, request a different company for your work order.

Crappy service. Had me wait at home all day for a service visit and at 6pm they called and said nobody would be coming out.. This is the type of company that home warrantee insurance companies refer me to..

Cannot recommend. Showed up hours late and then spend 80% of the visit trying to up sell me on work and add-ons unrelated the the issue. Guy seemed nice enough, but very sales focused - maybe commission based?
Paid him for the visit only and called another contractor (who was excellent, on-time, and fixed the issue promptly. And, didn't try to sell me anything else!)

Great company and very professional people! I called on a Monday and they came out the next day and fixed my water leak.

Our kitchen sink backed up. My husband and our neighbor did their best to get it flowing but finally gave up and called the Home Warranty Company. The first company they referred us to could not come out for 4 days - unacceptable - so called them back and they sent Indoor Comfort. Deloris did a great job explaining the plumbing situation to me as she went along - island sink, clean out under sink and outside kitchen. Took some work but she got it flowing again. I would definitely use Indoor again.

My Parents had a unit replaced by this company and they did a wonderful job.
My mother was very concerned about getting dust on her clothes and especially her shoe collection. Indoor Comfort took the time to build a tent around the work area to accommodate her wishes and make her feel comfortable that the work that was being done to the house would not ruin her clothes. She even sent a letter to the company thanking them for their service when they were done with the job.
The job was done in a timely manner with a fair price. I would recommend Indoor comfort to any family or friends that needed work done to their heating or air conditioning units.

We called them to have them install the NEST controll system in our home. They told us they couldn't do that install, because we needed a zone control unit installed. We paid for the zone control unit ($755). The first thing the tech wanted us to do was to purchase a plan for them to ""calibrate"" our system for either the Bronze @ $1,133 or the Silver @ $1,511. (The Gold was close to $2,000). This would not include cleaning the air ducts ($50 per duct). We weren't impressed by the ""up sale"" by the technician because he couldn't even tell us what else they would do for that amount of money. When I wanted to make a copy of his chart that stated everything they would do for each level, he told me that he wasn't allowed to let me copy that information.
He left screws and insulation on the carpet floor--didn't clean up after himself.
Not sure these are the best folks to be working on your heating/air unit.
