Requested service for a light switch that would not turn on/off. Carol was very accommodating in working with me to schedule the service. Mark and another serviceman were able to come out on an earlier tentative date, quickly fixed the problem, and even cleaned up the debris from the light switch. Greatly appreciated their kindness and thorough service! Will definitely call them again for any future service!

One of our electrical fuses blew and we called Independent Electric. Mark scheduled the appointment with us and showed up promptly in the window that he mentioned. As can be expected, when Mark came to look at the fuse, it was working again and he could not determine the problem. Mark was honest with us and shared that the existing brand of fuse had a history of being sensitive and would trip often. I appreciated that he was neutral on whether we should change the fuse or keep it and was honest that the type of fuse that was installed is on the pricier side. We didn't want to run into another problem since the fuse stopped working for 4 days and asked him to replace it even though it was working at the moment. He did this pretty quickly and the lights were working.

My only reason for giving Independent Electric 4 stars instead of 5 stars is that I asked Mark to give us a quote on some additional work that we were interested in. Mark said he would follow up and I've never heard back.

The things you look for when utilizing these services is obviously, good work but more importantly, trustworthiness and transparency and in my opinion, Mark was all these things. We had an issue with a fan in our bathroom; he came, took a look, offered his professional opinion and offered up the options. Very straight-forward and didn't charge for coming out and taking a look at the problem. Once we decide next steps, we will definitely be giving him a call. Definitely worth your while if you have any electrical needs. Carol at the office was also very responsive and diligent; a 5-star operation all the way around.

You've found your go-to electrician with Mark - at least we certainly have. Mark is personable, great with communication, his work is great and prices fair. We've hired him twice, once for a large job to add circuits to our home and another time was for a time-sensitive issue we were concerned about.

Mark came over right away and persisted until we found the problem and fixed it - and it wasn't a straight-forward situation!

In the past, I've found that other vendors have left me hanging or weren't trustworthy. Mark is the real deal and we're glad we have someone to call when we need it!
