Jason does not follow through or keep his word. He will gladly take your money and make promises to complete the work, but there is no follow through. Do not hire!
Rude and acts like he knows more than he does, but he's actually clueless. I would never trust him with any work.
Avoid like the plague! I paid upfront to Jason for a large refit on my boat. I paid for all the equipment that would need to be installed which included a Garmin MFD and an and a Garmin 24 inch Fantom radar antenna. At tha e time, the boat was under going some interior repair at a local boatyard. When this work was complete I had difficulty with non response for weeks on end. I finally went to his home address and retrieved all the ordered equipment with the exception of the radar antenna that he said he had used for another customer's boat. He said he had ordered another that never was received (he said). After many notifications, the antenna appeared. After threats of suing in small claims court he came up with $500 - well short of the cast of the antenna. He promised more compensation in a week. It has been about 6 months since the first transaction and still money or response to many email.
In any case, do not use or trust this man! I've had the work completed by A & G electronics who did a competent installation. I will be taking my claim to court and have retained all of our communications and the lac there of.
Terrible communication and worse service, and frankly an unsafe vendor.
Jason did a rewire on my boat and not only did I have to take it to another shop to finish the job, but they had to fix a number of issues that Jason caused by incorrectly installing components. The acrylic dash broke loose, Simrad's not working, bilge pump wiring failed immediately, most wiring was not heat shrunk, none was labeled, trim tabs installed incorrectly, ignition switches reversed, numerous brand new switches not working, and so on. Jason burned holes in my vinyl seats with a heat gun and completely stopped responding before fixing them.
Jason's business should be shut down. He brings as many excuses as he does problems until you give up and hire a pro.
Took over a month to install 4 pieces of e in my sailboat and when he was done the boats battery switches had to be off to turn the electronics off. He told me ""Thats the way it was when he got there"" I paid $100 dollars an hour to a guy that thinks it's okay to just wire up electronics the way it was and not the correct way. He said "" you never told me you wanted the electronics to go on and off with the Instrument switch on the breaker panel, you just asked me to install the equipment. I had just paid him the same day he gave me the invoice but didn't notice the issues until the next day. I had asked if he would warrant any install issues and he said he would so I would cut the check but as soon as I called him about the issue, he got angry and refused to even look at it to see if it was his mistake or not, he just denied it was his problem and said he would be glad to fix it at his regular rate.
Get a professional electrician who will show up on time and get the job done correctly, not this Punk.
