Freddy and his team worked on several kitchen projects at my place, including recently installing a new gas range/stove. I was nervous and avoided this project because it would not be a straightforward and standard slide-in installation. The old range was embedded in the cabinet structure, requiring precise measurements and foundation modification which would not be visible until everything was removed. In addition, my condo is small and has lots of stairs, like those SF units where parking and accessibility are limited.

Freddy took on all of these challenges with patience and perseverance, he never once complained and his confidence made me feel reassured. We ended up with some ""out of the box solutions"", and Freddy listened to my input with professionalism and care. He takes pride in providing quality work, and wants you to have a positive, happy customer experience. I definitely would recommend Freddy with Idyllic Construction, and I look forward to working with him again.

I have been working with Freddie and team for 4 years now, as they have completely torn down and rebuilt my house in willow glen. Their attention to quality in detail is something I haven't seen before, and I am a particularly picky client who worked with them to articulate what was in my head and they made it happen. Freddy and his crew are by far the most respectful, timely and efficient crew of contractors I've worked with. I've had bad experiences with other contractors, even ones recommended by neighbors, and always worried about being exploited as a female homeowner. Freddy is the first contractor I've worked with that exuded such a high level of respect and trust that I've overcome some of that past trauma. Some of the work they've done included permitted electrical, permitted plumbing, remodeling my bathroom, installing a steam shower, concrete repair, building a shed, installing recessed lighting, installing an attic fan etc. He's also come out for emergency repairs for me and my neighbors even during his off-work hours. He and his crew were early or on time for every single day of the many days/weeks of work they collectively did. His prices are quite reasonable for the quality and he's good about fixing up anything that needs a touch up. 100% recommend

Fantastic! Freddy is a terrific human being and professional. He demonstrates the highest integrity, is diligent, proactive, timely, communicative, consistent, and personable. His quotes are also very reasonable. He has worked on more than one project for me, most recently transforming a guest bathroom. It is absolutely beautiful. I actually leave the door open just so I can see it when I walk down the hall. :-) Idyllic does great work and everyone was professional and easy to work with. Freddy seems like he's had a lot of hands on experience and he made several excellent suggestions that really improved the final result. He treats a job as if he is working on his own home. If you ask him to do something he will do it the right way. I've had the experience more than once where he fixed something and made it obviously better than the original request required. I appreciated that his team paid attention to small details. They also went out of their way to protect the floors in our home and seal off the work area to keep the dust contained. I'm so happy Idyllic worked on our home, and I will hire them again without hesitation. It was a great experience.

The temperature in my garage was exceeding 120F during the recent heat wave, so I decided to have it insulated. Initially I thought about hiring a handyman as it looked like an easy job to me. I have hired Freddie, and his Idyllic Construction company instead, as they gave me an excellent offer. They have insulated the roof, and closed the attic. They have also installed the whirlybird vent on the roof. There was much more about this project they have also done than I never thought of, but Freddie explained everything to me, and directed me through the process. They did great job, and after several days the garage is livable with a new ceiling. I'm so happy I did not hire a handyman, as I'm now assured everything is done safely up to code. I can wholeheartedly recommend Freddie, and Idyllic Construction.

I've hired Idyllic Construction twice for two different jobs at my home, once doing pavers in my front yard, and once doing a major reconstruction of my backyard including adding new flagstone, outdoor lighting, an island, and other great features to the yard. They did a fantastic job both times. Not only was their work extremely high quality, but they were also very helpful in providing suggestions to me on how to beautify my space in a cost-efficient and attractive manner. Freddy and the rest of his team were always very polite and respectful of our space, being careful to leave the construction site neat and orderly at the end of each work day. They held a high standard of quality and would proactively fix issues that came up before I ever had to say anything. They were great communicators and would ask me for clarification on anything that they were unsure of in the design (""how high do you want this?"", etc.). I would highly recommend them and plan to hire them again for my next project.

Freddy did an amazing job, from start to finish, from answering the phone , scheduling me in and most importantly showing up on time , he ran a dedicated electric wire to my new heat pump , (code approved) and cleaned up great afterwards, I have used Freddy in the past and he always goes above and beyond .
