The breakers tripped and I lost electricity in the kitchen even after trying to reset them. So, I called Ideal Electric and Esed answered the phone right away. He also offered to help me to reset them over the phone which meant that if it worked, he would not come out to provide the service which was amazing. I didn't expect that. Well, It worked. Needless to say, it's rare that a service provider would help like that free of charge but he did. Now I will reach out again if I need to call an electrician in and, of course I will refer him to others. He is genuinely helpful and wants to provide excellent service. Most would have come out anyway and charged a lot of money for something that was easy to fix for those who know how. Thank you Esed. I appreciate your honesty and your help.

Several weeks ago the ceiling heater in my back bathroom stopped working. Yesterday I finally got around to texting Esed. He texted me back and we arranged for him to come out today at 3:30 to check it. It had been installed in 2006 or 7. It controls the light and contains a heater and a vent. I never use the vent and seldom use the heater, so it wasn't an emergency.

Esed arrived promptly w/ his tools. He went upstairs w/ his tools and checked out the fixture, which worked fine for him. We agreed that I should have tried it again. He said it was a Panasonic, which is very reliable. He estimated that it was about 25 years old because the housing was made of metal rather than plastic. It may be that it was manufactured and then installed years later. He charged his usual troubleshooting fee, which I was happy to pay because I might never have turned it on again, which would have been a pity. We had a good chat after he finished, catching up on what was going on in each others' lives. I can't recommend him highly enough.

Imagine if you could genuinely trust your electrician? I solicited quotes from a handful of electricians to install an EV charger at my home, and Esed immediately stood out as different. It seemed as though he was the only person who responded thoughtfully to my request for a quote - he had more questions, he asked me about a few of my preferences, etc. - all the others either tried to upsell me, didn't respond at all, or spit out a generic number.

That was my first impression of Esed and Ideal Electric, and the positive experience only grew from there. My home doesn't have the newest or highest-capacity panel, but Esed got onto a video call with me, had me walk around and show him a few things, and then thoughtfully stepped me through a variety of options... each with their own price and each with their own pros/cons. He made sure that I understood my options well enough to make an informed decision. He spent time with me.

After we agreed on an approach, he booked an appointment with me quickly (less than a week out), showed up on time, and was finished in only a few hours. The end product is exactly what we agreed upon, and the price is exactly what we discussed prior to him coming - competitive and fair.

To any other non-handy homeowners like myself... there are plenty of options for electricians, plumbers, remodelers, etc. - it's very rare to find somebody who you can trust implicitly, and that removes one of the most frustrating and stressful aspects of finding professionals to work on your home. Esed is a real gem! Consider getting a quote from him for your next project and you'll see what I mean.

He set about doing his diagnostics in a measured fashion. He explained everything he was finding along the way. This review is long overdue, as I have worked with Esed on multiple projects over the years. He has done electrical panel upgrades, installed an EV car charger, corrected and properly installed my backyard motion sensor light, installed hot tub electrical, diagnosed and changed a faulty circuit breaker, etc. You get the point.

Every single job is done in a very specific and precise way, with great attention to detail. Esed is meticulous in all the work he does. In my opinion, electrical work should not be done in any other way.

Furthermore, Esed is honest and fair. You don't get his level of quality by cutting corners or by cutting costs. If you need excellent quality electrical service, Esed is your guy!
