AC went out in July. Hydes was quick to respond. They laid out our options and provided a recommendation. Ensured we know what was happening throughout the process. Offered competitive pricing. We knew we were in the hands of a fair, highly qualified professional. Very satisfied with the entire process and it's results. Beautiful finished product (yes, I'm bragging about my AC system). 6 STARS

Avoid this company when your A/C goes out. I was told I would have to replace my unit and was quoted a high price and overcharged for freon (they charge $90 dollars a pound while another one charges $50, big difference!). Once the tech left after ""fixing"" the unit it went out 4 hours later. I called my home warranty (and had to spend even more money) to take a second look at it and all that needed to be done was to clean the coils and tighten a loose connection, something that the Hyde's tech should have caught given the fact that they are ""professionals"". My unit is perfectly fine and should last me another 5-10 years.

I was so disappointed that I canceled my membership that I was paying $15 a month for. Plus they failed to complete my winter service which was included in my membership.

I dislike ""family companies"" that take advantage and overcharge their customers.

Since my last experience in 2015 I have continued to use Hyde's and have been very happy with their service. As a previous business owner for 25 years, I realize everyone can have ""burps"" in their service and I'm happy that I gave them another try since they have proven to provide excellent service. Highly recommend!

Professional and Exceptional service by James Burrell. I don't think I have ever encountered a service experience like this one in my life. If I could I would give him 10 Stars! The company was very professional in setting up my appointment and after spending a day and night without air when it has been 108° outside... I needed a quick fix. James called to let me know that he was on his way and was right on time.. No waiting around for half the day... The company said when he would be there and he was there on time. When James arrived he introduced himself and I must say.. My experience was a pleasure from beginning to end. And I must also mention that my mother has worked for a competing air conditioning company in the desert... And although you would think there would be a sense of professional courtesy towards her after she had left the company... I would have to say that I received today better service then she has ever received from that company when she has had air conditioning problems, sad to say. Long story slightly longer... I will always call Hydes Heating and Air Conditioning if I ever have future problems with my air conditioning.... And No, I didn't get paid to say any of this... Trust me.. Ask for James Burrell.... And you won't be disappointed!

My air conditioner stopped working over the weekend. Hydes was able to send out a repair man first thing Monday morning. When James Burell showed up he was very courteous and knowledgeable. He was able to fix the problem quickly and for a fair price. Would deffinatly recommend him to anyone who needs service or repairs on their unit.

Highly professional, friendly, patient, responsive, knowledgeable, diligent and fairly-priced sums up the great service and cost you receive from Hyde's!

Technician Casey Harrison was a pleasure to have as a working guest in my home. He was all of the above and did a thorough, great job servicing my two A/C-Heating systems and installing a new, very bright and big number thermostat at my request. Now I can read the thermostat again without squinting and needing to turn on the light!

You cannot beat Hyde's for prompt, friendly and professionally thorough service and installation! I am careful and picky about who services in my home, and I would unreservedly and highly recommend Hyde's A/C and Heating as the very best in the Coachella Valley!

Just finished replacing our entire HVAC system and really want to give Hyde's our highest recommendation. We split our time between Rancho Mirage and Los Angeles and really don't know that many good companies in the Coachella Valley so relied on Yelp recommendations and the referral of friends. Really glad we did. From the moment I called, I was treated courteously and respectfully. Mike Hyde arrived promptly and had excellent recommendations, explained the various energy efficiencies of the units, and took the time to call the association's roofer to ask questions as the unit was to be installed on the roof. The installation process went without a hitch--the company is a well-oiled machine and the technicians are all professionals who are polite and neat, thorough and courteous. They even volunteered to fix the shabby job another HVAC company did installing my NEST thermostat, including patching and painting the wall, and they left me with extra filters (we have an odd size and they are not easy to find). Although I didn't price shop, I'd say that the cost was reasonable and Hyde's does not overcharge and is an extremely honest company.

We had such a great experience with Claudio today. He took time to thoroughly explain the issues that were causing problems with our heater -- even drawing a little diagram of the unit so we could have a true ""visual""! We've used Hyde's for years, and this visit was on par with the high quality service we've come to appreciate with this company time and time again. I thought I'd be buying a new heater, but Claudio provided me with a lower-cost repair option first to see if that gets us by for awhile before having to invest in a whole new unit. Thank you Claudio, and the entire team over at Hyde's!

Fast approaching the Christmas weekend and one of the heaters wasn't working in our vacation rental. I called after 9 am this morning and was told a technician would be out between 10 and 12. Right around 10 Jeff showed up and quickly discovered that the vacuum hose to the pressure switch was disconnected. He quickly reconnected it and tested out the system. Heat was working great! Quick, prompt and resonably priced service! Love it, thank you!
