Established in 1985, Hydes focuses on air conditioning system installation and servicing. Brian Hyde originally started the business as an appliance repair shop in Orange County in 1972. To cater to clients with vacation homes in Palm Desert, he established an additional Hydes office.

At Hyde's, Michael Hyde is the general manager, managing day-to-day activities with his brothers, Barry and Mark. Since the company started in 1972, Michael has been involved with Hyde's. As a teenager, he began by answering phones and handling paperwork.
He graduated from Cal State Fullerton in 1981 with a degree in business. Alongside his background in accounting, Michael holds NATE certification, enhancing his role in our company.

Kathy S.My appointment was scheduled for between 3:00 and 6:00 pm. Chris, Hyde's service technician, called me at 2:40 and arrived by 3:00. I really appreciated that because usually when a company gives a time frame for when they will arrive, it has been my experience that the company representative will arrive closer to the later time. Chris was prompt, professional, and diagnosed the issue with my heater within a half and hour. The work will be done tomorrow by Chris, and at what I consider to be a reasonable cost. So far, I'm very satisfied with Hyde's professionalism and work product.
