Awesome experience with Hunter Service Group! Our a/c's stopped working due to a an issue with our electrical box and breakers. It turns out it was a bigger deal than we thought as the breakers were melted and could have started a fire. The technician Christopher C. was on time, extremely knowledgeable and professional. He did a great job of explaining the work that needed to be done. Good value for the money. We will definitely use Hunter Service Group again.
Sent out an estimate request through YELP and Hunter Service Group was one of five companies that replied , and were one of two that actually came to my home to review what I needed done and then offer an estimate. I did not even consider the companies that offered an estimate without actually coming to see the scope of work.
John was the technician who came. He was extremely professional and took the tome to explain all of the options.
In the end I chose another company but I would not hesitate to use Hunter in the future.
This is such a nice group of people to work with! I also got to meet Amy and she is definitely a bonus. I would definitely hire these guys.

Margaret I.I bought a used hot tub that required to be hard wired with a dedicated 50 amp line. They called me and set-up an in-house estimate the very next day. I had no clue what the cost would be but was provided 3 options to get the job done with all cost upfront. Chris McDonald was great, very professional and caring listening to my needs and concerns. They do have low interest financing for larger jobs and a maintenance program for electrical systems like my AC/ furnace which I signed up for and saved me a lot of money. Coworker Stacy Woodard came with Chris on the very next day, part of the holiday weekend and put in a full day's work in the heat of the day to get our power line installed and run over 40 feet from the power box to the spa. Chris even went online and pull up the manual to our hot tub model to have the correct wiring schematics. I would definitely recommend them for being top notch electricians making me feel much safer hiring a professional. They also sent text messages to keep me informed of their arrival time with the employee's picture and a little bio so I felt like I was inviting a friend into my home.

Justin was absolutely amazing! We had to have ground wires replaced . The whole team that came out was amazing . Everyone was so positive, the atmosphere was wonderful. They kept us up to speed with everything. I highly recommend them. Will most definitely be using them again
Hunter Electrical installed four light fixtures for us. The service was prompt (tech arrived on time), professional and well-done. The technician also checked our fuse box and recommended installation of a surge protector that a prior contractor had apparently failed to install. The tech had a surge protector with him and installed that as well. We heartily recommend Hunter Electrical to anyone needing electrical services done on their home or business.
Timothy T.Provided feedback and owner responded and essentially dismissed everything I had to say. Here is his message along with my response:
Owner:
I was made aware that you took issue with work that we recently performed for you. It is my understanding that you took issue with the following:
-The motion sensor that was installed for your bedroom lights was meant to be installed for your bathroom lights
-The Nest security camera that we installed for you resulted in a bush in your back yard sustaining some minor damage.
I have spoken with the technician who did the installation and my estimator that priced this work for you. I have also reviewed the invoice. The invoice clearly states that the motion sensor was to be installed in your bedroom and you signed for the completed work. This would indicate that you were satisfied with the installation and the location / function of the motion sensor. Furthermore, the technician says that he advised you not to install the motion sensor in your bedroom. If you would like us to move the motion sensor to another location, that can be done, but at an additional cost.
After speaking with both my estimator and installing technician, we will not compensate you for ""damage"" to a bush. Your vegetation in the backyard is overgrown and both of my employees advised you that there may be some minor damage to the vegetation because of where you wanted us to mount the cameras. You indicated that would not be a problem and asked us to proceed. Again, your signature on the invoice and payment would indicate that you were satisfied with the work performed.
My response to above message:
I was NOT informed that there would be damage to my plants (see pics below) and was only informed after-the-fact, once I approached installer in the backyard during installation.
As for the bedroom light, also not correct. I directed the installer to install motion detector device in bathroom. He informed that he couldn't. At that point is when I directed to install in bedroom.
You're right, the signature represents my sign off on work performed. However, it doesn't always characterize the context of the situation. If you choose not to redress, that's fine - I'll simply share my perspective /experience in the appropriate area.
To be clear, the installer was very courteous and professional. However, soft skills doesn't always align with technical competence.
Not a five star service.
