Company Overview

Humphrey & Associates has established offices in Dallas, Denton, Fort Worth, and Yantis, serving East Texas. Our services encompass Electrical, Mechanical, Engineering/Design, Preventative/Proactive Maintenance, Lighting Management, and Personnel/Safety Management. Our expertise covers commercial, industrial, manufacturing, institutional, healthcare, and residential fields. Our experienced team is adept at designing, building, and maintaining Electrical, HVAC, and Plumbing systems in every industry sector.

On April 1, 1977, Humphrey & Associates launched in Dallas, Texas, as an Electrical Contractor catering to the Dallas/Ft. Worth construction markets. Since our inception, we have seen steady, controlled growth. By fostering teamwork and involvement in the construction community, we have been able to expand and diversify.

In April 1981, the Humphrey & Associates Inc. Stock Ownership Plan and Trust acquired fifty percent of the common stock not held by Steve Humphrey. Consequently, our employees, called Associates, possess 50 percent of the company's shares. After one year with us, employees start accumulating shares, making them part-owners of Humphrey & Associates. In 1981, the corporation generously gifted half the stock to employees through an employee stock ownership plan, truly making them ""associates"".

H&A began with a focus on electrical contracting and design projects in the Metroplex; in 1986, we opened a branch office in Mt. Pleasant to expand our services. In 1995, we added a mechanical group, providing customers with a complete MEP team package; later in the '90s, we opened a principal office in Fort Worth and another branch in Denton. Every new service we introduce, whether past or future, aims to improve our customer service.

While H&A is a family-owned business, it is not a small player in the industry. The management team regards the core 310 ""associates"" as our most valuable resource. Our board of directors and managing executive committee, made up of seven vice presidents and branch managers, boast an average tenure of 25 years together, a rarity in the construction sector. The average tenure for the remainder of our team stands at 8.5 years.
