When my new washer and dryer were delivered, I was amazed to discover that the outlet for the old dryer was not ""approved"" for the new dryer. Not only that, I paid extra for a dang plug to go onto the dryer itself! The sales rep forgot to tell me those little details when I purchased the appliances. Those things had nothing to do with Hull Electric.

These things do: Hull Electric to the rescue, again. My elderly mom had requested some closet lights so she could see her clothing (this is a 40 year old house), so we combined the 2, or actually 3, things. Had a new dryer outlet put in. Mr. Hull also attached the plug to the dryer since the delivery team did not do so. Had closet lights put in 3 bedrooms. Mr. Hull picked LED motion sensor strip lights and they are a superb choice. They provide strong bright light, come on when door is opened and even if door is left open, they go off after about 5 minutes. Mr. Hull, once again, recommended saving money by NOT putting one in a hallway closet. What is amazing about all this, aside from Hull Electric's prompt service and excellent work, is that I did not ask for a quote up front. The work had to be done, so the cost was not the primary issue. I had a figure in mind as to what I thought it should cost, having done quite a bit of remodeling in the past couple of years. The bill came in below that figure. It is quite refreshing to be able to trust a businessman to be so fair and honest. Again, I highly recommend Hull Electric in every possible way. Being confident in an electrician's work and ethics is at the top of my list of safety concerns.

We hired Hull Electric to put in a new electric panel for the house. We thought we needed one based on another electricians ""advice."" Turns out we just needed a new fuse. We didn't even need to buy one, because Tom was able to use an open fuse already in the box. Tom could have taken advantage of us and put a new panel in, however he is a very honest and professional business man, and only fixed what was necessary. He literally saved us thousands! I highly recommend him!

We hired Tom Hull/Hull Electric to install a Quiet Cool whole house fan in our 2-story home. We found him through another popular home repair site (which we had never heard of, but found out its quite popular!). We had 4 companies bid the job, all quoting the same manufacturer and model....and the prices varied considerably (which we weren't expecting, but goes to show that it truly does pay to shop around!). Tom's bid was VERY COMPETITIVE which is what we were looking for, but more importantly we wanted to find reviews that showed the quality of work, etc. I always look on Yelp first, but had to look at this other site instead. I found plenty of reviews there that were 4-5 stars (mainly 5 stars!) which speaks volumes to me, so we hired him. He was prompt, professional, courteous, clean, thorough and had a positive attitude....a true professional. I'd recommend him to anyone and I'd definitely use him again! Thanks Tom!!!
