Kevin is a true 5 star professional and individual! I called Kevin to check the work of another contractor that we hired to do a plumbing and sump pump repair and installation. These guys were not only overcharging us majorly but couldn't finish the job (they did a crappy job on everything else and were now stuck on the electrical part).

We needed an electrician's professional opinion about the job. Kevin could have written us his observations as an electrical contractor and be done with the job. But instead, he went above and beyond what we asked of him and helped us deal with the pickled situation we were in for having hired ""crook"" contractors.

He explained to us how true honest contractors work, helped us get the permit from the city and was present during the city inspector's visit to explain all that was wrong with the installation so now we have a chance to hire the right contractors to do the work we need. Kevin is an outstanding person... one of those the world could use many more of! I am really thankful I ran into him and am very happy to recommend his work to anybody that needs a really competent, knowledgeable, honest professional and incredible guy!

My husband contacted Kevin earlier this week to determine the cause of an open ground in several outlets of our house. Unfortunately, Kevin was swamped, and was unable to come and diagnose the problem, however he took the time to speak with my husband over the phone to troubleshoot what the cause might be. My husband has some electrical experience, and listened to exactly what Kevin thought it might be and how to fix it.
Today: Thank you Kevin!!!!! Kevin was 110% correct, and my husband was able to fix the problem very quickly. Had it not been for Kevin, we would have never found the problem on our own.

5 Stars! Kevin is great at what he does. Knowledgeable, quick, clean and honest. I've had plenty of bad experiences being overcharged by past contractors. Not with Kevin. He is someone you can trust to do the job right and at a fair price.

We had two submersed pool lights replaced (along with some necessary rewiring and hardware replacement), an outlet installed in a closet conversion, and a few other electrical related items taken care of. Everything done quick and professionally.

I am fairly handy and can do most of these things myself. But needed a licensed professional to do the job right. Especially with electrical work around a pool where kids swim. Check out the below article from So Cal Edison. Kevin saved the day!

I needed an electrician asap and turned to yelp. Im so glad I found Kevin. It was late in the evening but he stayed on the phone and took the time to try to help me and explain the possible reasons for my power outage. Rather than coming out and charging me the service fee he recommended a few things to see if I could solve it on my own first. Since I still couldn't figure it out and I really have no clue about electrical work, I asked that he come out the next day. He was there on time and it didn't take him long to figure it out and fix it. He charged me only half the service fee! Kevin is super friendly and one you could trust and is honest in his fees. At first I was like, wow he has all 5 star reviews. Believe it! A+++

I was referred Hull electric from one of my friend and call him after reading the yelp reviews. Kevin and his helper Dan came to my house to work on 12 recess lights and three ceiling fans. Also he replaced 18 recessed light with LED recess and changed out two chandeliers. The work was very clean and accurate that he only have to make 2 holes in both family room and the downstairs bedroom. He also patched up all the holes after he was done with lights. I would highly recommend Hull electric for anyone who is looking for great electrician.

Kevin Hull is a total pro. I called a few electricians needing a fix asap. While others could not make it, most likely because it wasn't a very big job, Kevin was able to come by same day and help diagnose what turned out to be a very elusive burnt wire in one of our light switches. This was not an easy fix and required much patience to get to the root cause. I have to say many people may have passed the buck on this one and considered it not worth the effort. Kevin however stuck with it and even came back the next morning (Sunday) to finish the job since he knew we had a party the next day.

Again this guy is a pro who seems to have the passion for the job that is so rare in any business. And as far as price goes he was more than reasonable, in fact too reasonable so I gave him a little extra.

It is very difficult to find an honest person to hire for a job these days it seems. I am NOT very knowledgeable with Electrical so not only did Kevin give me the opportunity to watch and teach me something he also was very fair priced and got the job done quickly with no problems. So if you're looking for a knowledgeable fair priced laid back dude of an electrician I would say schedule an appointment with this guy you shouldn't be disappointed if your experience was as good as mine.
