Scheduled service that was listed incorrectly on the service call. Was told when setting the appointment their techs are knowledgeable in areas they aren't and was told by their customer service that they don't have their techs stay updated on the latest information or standards because they change too frequently to expect that........ Not up to my standards.

We engaged Huft to re-insulate our attic and install a whole house fan. I knew they were the right choice when they sent out 2 technicians, 1 for HVAC and 1 for electrical. They made me feel like I was worth their time. Each provided me with a quote before they left. Their customer service was top notch, with each technician, from initial quote to final installation (Thank you to Hunter & P.J., Anthony, Roy, Omar, Alec). Solomon Ajlouni stood out for his exceptional coordination between the HVAC and electrical teams during the installation process. I requested this company to clear that the electrical in my home was fine, i.e. no exposed wiring handing out etc., and the wiring we set up on the shed in our backyard was properly removed because we are selling the house. This little toddler boy and his high-school buddy came out to my home, didn't walk through the house at all and when he wrote out the report that there was no electrical remaining on the shed, he then followed it with a statement that he saw water damage by the electrical and suggested a full electrical wiring replacement on an 11 year old house that didn't have running water and hasen't for 6 months. So I am still trying to figure out at what point, since he didn't come into the house, how he saw water on anything. When I called to speak to the supervisor I didn't get a return phone call, so I guess it is their practice that they see a half million dollar home that they want to write down lies and false Information to make money on you rather than be an honest company and provide honest work!

If I had to summarize this company in one word: Heroic. I've been a member of their loyalty program for a few years, and have always been impressed by their high level of professionalism, genuine kindness, and cost for quality. My husband and I bought our house 8 years ago and the HVAC system that was currently installed was only 4 years old. We'd had an independent contractor servicing our system until he got too ill to work (cancer). It's hard to choose a new stranger to come into your home and trust them to do the work you need without them trying to scam you.
I had heard about Huft from a local radio program and decided to give them a try. Since then, I've been incredibly happy with Huft, especially when our old and bottom-of-the-barrel system began burning through capacitors. The technicians who came out over the years have always been great at informing us of the promotions for a new system, but we don't make much money and it's hard to spend more than $15k in one shot when we could just limp along with a new capacitor every year for much less money.
This year, however, something broke on the AC unit and all of the coolant leaked out. It was going to be more money than was worth it to keep putting a band-aid on the real problem: the system is 12 years old and it wasn't a very good one to begin with. So... we bit the bullet and Huft really worked with us to get an affordable system with install PLUS attic insulation (of which, we had next to none due to the age of our house). Every single Huft technician that came into our home was professional, courteous, friendly, and, most importantly, an expert in what they were doing. Huft does not contract any of the work out - everyone that worked on our replacement system and insulation install was a Huft employee. That means two things: the quality of the work is guaranteed AND there's no hidden fees for 3rd party contractors.
I'm incredibly happy with the new system. Thank you, Huft!

Hi, I am an honest single female who has to advocate for costs as I was taught. The customer scheduler Brooke did what she should, the tech Gabriel, did what he could, but the bottom line, I""m a small job, so I got tucked into a higher quote, which I tried to negotiate for realistic value. I was then told they will not service me. Sad to see that bigger the business the higher the cost us small individuals must pay who ""don't want to or can't afford to, be in the club"".

We had been interviewing companies for about a year when we finally decided it was time to install a new hvac system and hire Huft for the installation. That was March 2023. We were working directly with Glenn, our salesperson, and we were able to negotiate with Huft and get a price that seemed fair to us. We love our system, we chose the Bosch heat pump with new ductwork and new insulation. The installers were great, very respectful of our home, keeping everything clean and tidy. It was hard work, for 3 long days. The installers were great and that is when our experience with Huft changed. I was instructed by the installers we would have a SEER test by a third party and then an inspection by the city. I should state we financed through a lender that Huft uses with 0% interest for 25 months. So they got paid immediately and this I believe truly is the issue other then the front office dropping the ball. We had our SEER test in April 2023. Then nothing. Part of our contract with Huft states we would get 2 free years of semi annual maintenance, so in November 2023, I call Huft and schedule our maintenance. The technician comes out and I specifically asked him why have we not had an inspection by the city. He states oh you don't need one...well I knew that was false. So I then call the office at Huft and speak with Bailey, she states oh that's weird we had a computer glitch and once you had your SEER test it didn't trigger us to call the city and schedule your inspection. So December 2023 an inspector comes out and we fail our inspection. So then I have to call and schedule a new appointment for a technician to come out and fix the issues that made us fail After that happens we have to have an inspector from the city come back out and re-inspect. We finally passed inspection of our system 1 year and 1 week after installation. If we had not financed through the company Huft uses as a third party lender, they would not have received any funds until we passed inspection so they would have never not scheduled our inspection.

I received heating and air conditioner maintenance services from Huft Heating and Air over 20 years ago. They maintained my two heaters and two air conditioners for about 2 years. What I remember most about this company is that they serviced my units and identified potential problems, but they never tried to push me into buying new units. They said that the units needed to be replaced, but they did not brow beat us. Problems that could be repaired were done at a reasonable cost. They were always honest with me and I truly appreciated it. Brian Huft was the service person back then and I am appreciative that he has maintained the work ethics, professionalism, and honesty to this day.

When we absolutely had to replace our units last year in April, I called Huft Heating, now known as Huft Home Services. They still had our information on file.

The estimator came to our home inspected each unit and discussed all of the details, cost, thermostat, air intake grilles, etc. with us. He explained the estimates and was very thorough. We purchased 4 units, and we added a water heater and later a whole surge protector, and a new kitchen faucet. I waited a year to write this review because I wanted to be able to write about whether the value received is commensurate with the costs expended. The answer is a resounding Yes. Here's my overall opinion of the entire process from estimation to installation to operation:

1. The estimation process was through, all of our questions were answered and we were encouraged to call if we had further questions or needed additional clarification.

2. The two teams (heating and air) were stellar. The teamwork and knowledge that they displayed were miraculous to observe. These guys knew what they had to do and did it well. They took pictures and also took time to show us how things were progressing. At one point, I thought to myself this is going too well something is going to happen that I don't like. Nothing bad happened. They did a superb job. Kudos to Brian and staff. As I mentioned I have two heating units. One is in our garage and the other in the attic. The one in the attic is not easily accessible. In fact I think that it is a design flaw because the only way to get to the unit is through a grill on the side of the wall. Yes the side of the wall. The heating guys did not flinch when they saw the access grill. They got the old unit out and put the new unit in! Just wow. I swear I saw superhero capes flowing as they worked . There were some scuff marks, but they came back later and took care of them. The workmanship was beyond our expectations.

3. The faucet, water heater and the whole house surge protector installation was stellar, while less challenging than our one heater the installation of was still beyond our expectations.

4. All of the HVAC units are working perfectly and our heating and air conditioning bills reflect that, the water heating is working efficiently, and the faucet is working great. I cannot comment on the whole house surge protector as we have not had a condition requiring its use. But! we are ready if it's needed.

They completed our HVAC system in January 2024. All of the technicians were wonderful and helpful and answered all our questions. We love our new Bosch HVAC.

We also recently had a plumbing issue and they were at our house the same day and resolved our problem. Again, the technicians were wonderful.

Called them to clean a drain clog and the tech, Jeremy, did just that. Got straight to work, had to try multiple tools but spent the time to get it done. Also gave me a ballpark estimate for replacing a water heater and informed me they could help with hvac concerns. Relaxed and professional guy. Would reccomend their services. A little pricey but no cut-rate work or upselling.
