Steven from HSR Construction has been great. I first utilized their service a couple of years ago when we needed to have our electrical panel upgraded as we had one from the original year our home was built back in 1953. Steven did a clean and professional job on it. Our new panel has worked flawless and with no issues. Most importantly, it's up to code standards and has room to accommodate future electrical load expansions. He took the time to redo the wall finishing and repainted the area so it looked like it originally made part of our home. Since then, he's installed our outdoor patio heaters, outdoor lighting, a chandelier for our dining room, a light fixture for our kitchen, a level two charger for our EV and also wired up a couple of security cameras. Every time we have put money aside for the next home improvement project, Steven would be our person to contact especially on electrical related stuff. I highly recommend him. Good guy, does professional work, straight forward dealing, reasonable in pricing and reliable. He even takes the time to check in to see how things have been working as a follow up.

Steven of HSR Construction did a WONDERFUL job in my home. I had two chandeliers, ceiling fan and ceiling lights that needed to be installed and I couldn't ask for better work. Steven was extremely accommodating and able to meet our need by date and he is very fair priced. I shopped this work before choosing HSR and I can say unequivocally he was the most reasonable in price and he gets the job done. Moving forward I will always reach out to Steven of HSR for house jobs, someone I can trust to get the job done at a fair price.

We called Steven based on yelp reviews to to put recessed lights and ceiling fans for our home. He sent us an estimate over email. The quote was reasonable for the amount of work that was done. He showed up on time with all the required tools, was very professional and cleaned up each room after completing the work. He even accommodated our last minute requests without any additional cost.

Steven is very thorough and his quality of work is outstanding. He will be our go to person for all the electric work in future. We highly recommend him!!

I have used Steven for several projects for my house. He initially helped me with some minor renovations on my condo , but more recently, helped with installing wiring for internet and TV. He is a licensed contractor and electrician. I have found him knowledgeable and reliable and fair with pricing. He has since been my ""go to guy"" for small projects around the house. I first met Steven from HSR Construction in 2010 when my husband and I bought a fixer upper in Huntington Beach. We hired him to do a wide variety of jobs, including the demo of the kitchen, dining room, and bathrooms; installation of all new windows and doors (interior and exterior), plus a dog door; replacement of the fascia; installation of the water heater and new toilets; all the plumbing for the bathrooms (sinks, showers, bathtub) and kitchen. He also built six new doors for our linen closets to match our new interior doors. I could go on and on--he did A LOT of projects for us over a three-month period. Everything (as needed) was permitted with the City, and all of his work passed inspection with no problems.

Steven--who is a licensed general contractor AND a licensed electrician--is a very hard worker. We spent a lot of time together during the three-month project, and I found him to be very trustworthy and an all-around good guy. (He doesn't drink, smoke, or do drugs.) He showed up on time every day and finished everything right on schedule. (Bonus: He's from England, so he speaks perfect English!)

Steven is now our go-to guy for all of our household repairs and improvements. I keep a list of things that need to be done and then call him when I have a full day's worth of projects. (He can do just about anything, but he doesn't paint or patch drywall or stucco.) We recently had him install a new breaker panel and bring all the electrical stuff up to code, which he did in just a couple of days. (Maybe it was three days.)

Steven may not give you the lowest estimate, but his prices are fair, and I believe it's well worth a little extra expense to have a guy who shows up ON TIME every day and does what he says he's going to do.
