We needed an electrician to install our Ring Doorbell and Camera Floodlights. I had reached out to 3 or 4 electricians based on reviews in our neighborhood NextDoor app. My first appointment showed up, we walked the property, and they indicated they would email an estimate. I had two other electricians come out for quotes. The latter two never sent their quote. The first electrician sent a quote and then vanished. Several months later I found Horton Electric on Yelp. Tom, the owner, offered excellent advice about the install and provided his quote promptly. He also had installed Ring equipment prior to our visit. Tom installed our Ring equipment impeccably. We could not be happier. He is competitive, highly-skilled, an excellent communicator, responsible, professional, and delivers high-quality work. He is now our go-to electrician.

I bought a ring floodlight camera and contacted Tom for installation because there were no existing wires. He gave me a fair quote after i found him on yelp and decided to set up an appointment. Upon Arriving, Tom was very friendly and gave an exact break down of what was going to be done and how. Tom got to work diligently and thoroughly as he ran the wires thru my garage and installed light. Overall he did an awesome job and i am happy with the work. I highly recommend him for any type of residential electrical work.

Tom was referred to me by a co-worker who had just had some work completed and had great things to say about Tom. I had overloaded my electric circuit and couldn't get the circuit switch to work (ugh). Tom came out (on time !) checked everything, worked magic inside the circuit box and got my power back on in record time. He also helped me with some other stuff requiring a 'magic' touch. Excellent service, honest and skilled contractor. Hard to find these days someone like Tom. He will be my go to electrician going forward. Quoting process was a breeze, quick to quote and offered a competitive rate. Make sure you send him pictures of what you need - makes the whole process easier for both parties. We scheduled a time for service, he showed up on time and worked as agreed. It turned out that I overlooked one detail and we actually needed an additional 20 amp breaker that I had not specified in the original quote. I was nervous because these types of unforeseen add-ons are easy to be taken advantage off by contractors to jack up the price at the end. Tom was very honest and added the cost of the part at a very reasonable price at the end. I knew how much the part costs and it was pretty much the same price. I am really happy with the service and happy I won't have to shop around next time I need some electric work done. Oh, also, he cleaned up the whole working area after he was done which is a plus plus for me. Thanks Tom!!

When it comes to excellent work at a very reasonable price, you really can't go further. What I love most about Horton electric is that despite being a family owned business, the attention to detail is amazing. I love supporting small business like this one because Tom(the owner) prides himself with his work and his knowledge. You can clearly see the passion.
I went out to get quotes from multiple companies, they all said the exact same thing Tom did except they almost quoted me 3 times as much.
Tom was able to meet all the prices, he was on time, and the work was done flawlessly. He installed my Tesla wall charger, he came to my complex. Took measurements and gave me a full invoice and within mins of getting an invoice I agreed.

I tried all of Tesla's preferred partners (electricians) and to me Horton electric by FAR was the quickest, easiest and smoothest transaction I've ever done.
