I asked for a quote and the rep. Was adamant that purchasing was not the way to go. He gave his presentation and I told him that I wasn't going to commit until I heard from a few other companies. That's when the hard sales tactics kicked in . He said he could not give me a copy of quote and then his offer kept modifyiing and changing in price. He started high and was going to get as much $ out of me as he could.
I did settle on purchasing from another company and Horizon kept calling back and now purchasing was a good idea per their sales rep.. I told horizon on 8 different occasions that I had already signed with an other company. But they just kept. Calling. The sales reps Are wolfves in sheep's clothing. Buyer be ware.

Horizon was great in the installation, and that is where the good service stopped. I have 4 systems worth $2M and I can't get them to return a call. My current problem has been going on for a year and is still not resolved even after they finally sent their chief inspector. They won't call back when promised and when I do finally get through they claim the service department has all new people... that are ""just getting up to speed"". After a final meeting with them last week and assurances that the problem is fixed, it still isn't fixed and I can't get then to call me back. Just terrible service!

Inquiring into solar for the house and have been bombarded after requesting a quote on-line. Finally spoke with Miquel Cuban who had a complete breakdown of what is required and will be needed to pinpoint a buy/lease decision. Very professional and answered every question. Looking forward to the on-site evaluation!

I signed up in our local (Oxnard) Sam's Club. The incentive was a $100 Sam's Club gift card. I was assured that there was no obligation other than the initial appointment.
On the positive side:
There was an initial screw-up with the appointment. The rep never showed up and did not attempt to contact me in any way. When I called the company, I received an apology and (unsolicited by me) a $50 Amazon gift card.
The initial appointment went well. The rep was polite, well informed, answered all my questions, and left me with the information I needed to make an educated decision about whether Solar was right for me.
I decided that it was not.
The company called me to follow-up and I informed them that Solar was not a feasible option for me. He went through his obligatory attempts to sell me (no problem there) and when I convinced him that i was not going to change, he stopped. I mentioned the Gift Card and was told I would receive it by email. I have not received any additional calls from the company
On the negative side.
The gift card did not arrive within the promised time frame.
I called the company and spoke with another person who assured me that the Card would be sent by mail within 7 days.
It has been almost a month and no Card has arrived.
Today, I went into my Sam's Club and explained both what had happened and that this company's actions might reflect negatively on Sam's Club because of the implied connection between Sam's and Horizon Solar. i did not request anything from Sam's Club but the manager issued the Gift Card.
I am writing this to assure anyone who deals with Horizon that, if they do not receive the promised incentive, the issue is with Horizon. I also wonder about a company that makes promises that they do not keep. If they can't keep the simple promises, how good will they be and keeping the big promises if something goes wrong?

Luis and Horizon Solar Electric did an amazing job upgrading my main electric panel and preparing my house for a Tesla charger. I decided to use a 14-50 outlet instead of hardwiring the charger and he knew exactly how I wanted it done from the first phone call. He got the job done quickly, took care of all the permits and the wiring in the panel as well as the outlet he installed look great. I couldn't have asked for a more professional electrician and will be using him for all future electrical work. Highly recommend!

They were very professional and knowledgeable about their work. Fairly priced. Made an extra effort to not make a mess and cleaned up totally once the project was complete. Paid attention to detail, making sure the job was quality. I am very happy with this company and will use them again in the future!

I was a little skeptical of going solar but working with Horizon here in the Antelope Valley made it a pretty easy transition from Corey our sales agent to Nicole Simmons our project coordinator it was fairly smooth. The installation took much longer than Iinexpected but Nicole routinely called to let me know where we were In the process so it kept me from panicking. Since the install Horizon has had several technicians come by to check on the unit to ensure everything is running smoothly which has made us happy.

Very helpful man, Tony Montes helped me set up my smoke detectors and did most of the hard work. Very satisfied!

Very satisfied with the install of recessed lighting in my home. Highly recommend Luis who is just the friendliest and easy to work with. He provided quality work, timely and at a reasonable price. I would definitely call on him again for any future projects.
