Our house was built in 2018 and we bought it shortly after it was finished. We experienced frequent power surges and brief outages (5 minutes or less) so much that it reminded me of living in Florida in the country during hurricane season. Our AC had been having issues for a while and the second company we had look at it said that it was the circuit board (which had just been replaced 9 months prior). I had recently seen Mike Holmes (HGTV guy) talk about whole home surge protection and wondered if that would be a good option for us to help protect the AC unit. So I asked the guy about it and he highly recommended it. Enter Hop2it Electrical. I had researched several companies, gotten recommendations from others but the reviews kept bringing me back to Hop2it. We called and got on the schedule pretty quick (they had openings sooner but my husband wanted to be there). The morning of the appointment we got a text with the ETA and the guys name (Tony I believe) who would be taking care of us. He arrived and was really great. My husband took him out to the garage to the panel, gave him a brief history and what we wanted done. Tony took at look at our system upstairs in the attic (where the ac circuit board is) and gave his recommendation. He didn't try to upsell us on a more expensive one, but told us what he had in his house and said that the same one would be more than enough for us. Apparently homes build after 2020 were required to have whole whole surge protectors. He had it installed within 15 minutes. We've had several storms since then and have had no surges like we used to. Would HIGHLY recommend this company and use them again.

Overall, I am absolutely stunned by the amount of detail in their work, the quality of the technician's customer service, and (lastly but also most importantly in these times) the amount of care they take in your house. After moving to Texas for a few years, I was uncertain what to expect for this particular work I had: to take replace a painfully elaborate and intricate chandelier with the exact same one because the original was defective. Just going off the surface, the cost was about 40% higher when comparing against the lowest quote. However, it's very much worth every penny. The first thing is a consultation. I have a newborn at home and, as such, am super worried about the Delta COVID variant. In addition to being polite and professional, Cameron the electrician grabbed his mask and made sure it was on the entire time consulting. He gave me the options (I had additional questions about other electrical work I needed) and the time frame. I agreed and Cameron came back two days later with his associate, Jeremy, to perform the work on a 22-foot ceiling in a narrow foyer. Both Cameron and Jeremy were thoughtful to keep their masks on for my family's sake. They answered all my questions about the project and some extra curiosities about electrical work. Jeremy explained the chandelier's safety feature when I explained my wife was worried about the lines giving out (see picture). Needless to say, the small talk was insightful and very pleasant. They took great care to move aside furniture and items that were in the way, and to not damage the walls. Taking the original fixture down and installing the baseplate for the new one was not long. It was quick, decisive, and coordinated. The longest part was getting the fixture strings to a certain height that lets the chandelier look a certain way (see the picture). It may look simple, but the shape is hard to fixate straight. Nonetheless, Cameron and Jeremy took their time to move each string carefully- with Cameron 22 feet up and Jeremy directing/moving the bottom to get the strings to align. I could not stress how they did not rush the process and always checked to make sure that me, my wife, and my mother-in-law were fully satisfied. Some of the little things I noticed and greatly appreciated: they cleaned up the plastic trash from the new chandelier, moved back the furniture, and patted off their boot covers between coming in and out of the house to not bring in dirt. The last point is honestly the biggest difference that stood out. I rarely, if ever, see contractors have that attention to detail on cleanliness. Truly amazing experience and would give more stars if Yelp allowed it. Will definitely contact them again for future needs and for my other quote.

I was very pleased with the service I received from Hop2it. They were very responsive to my request via Yelp and were able to fix all the issues I was having with my landscape lighting as well as perform a couple other things I asked for while Noah was here. We recently purchased this home and there were a couple electrical things that came up on the inspection. Overall, I was really impressed with Hop2it and will be calling them again for any electrical needs.

Noah from Hop2it came out today. Very professional, took care of the issues and explained what had happened, and gave some helpful suggestions. He also used shoe covers when he came into the house-- the little things matter too. Thank you. The prices are very reasonable! We will definitely use them again.

First, the button on the Yelp site says you will get a ""quote"" within 30 minutes. I did not get a quote when I sent the message through the Yelp site explaining the issue. Instead, an hour or so later, I received a message requesting my name and phone number. I promptly responded. I didn't hear back until the following day when a representative called me and asked what was going on. I again explained the issue (or he read back to me what I had described in the original message) and said we can help with that. Again, no ""quote"" for what was going on - only an explanation of the trip charge (I did not get an answer as to what was possibly going on with half the circuits if I had potentially overloaded only the kitchen.) I agreed to the trip charge, but I wasn't available the next day (Monday), so an appointment was scheduled for Tuesday AM. The electrician, Anthony, was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful with questions I had. I give the company a star for that. But, as I have come to find out, the symptoms I described were not of what I erroneously believed to be an overload, but of a bad leg. And, as the power company repairman explained, look to see if the meter is running or blank to determine if the bad leg is the power company's responsibility or the homeowner's. Knowledge is power. As a recent (less than 6 months) first-time homeowner, I had no knowledge (and only half-power). Now, I have some knowledge (and full power). I feel a knowledgeable person at Hop2It could have explained the possible cause when I requested the ""quote "" (which I never received) and told me to, first, check the meter. That could have avoided both the trip charge and the diagnostic charge on the meter box. Also, when I asked a direct question, they avoided answering it - only saying they could help with that. I pretty much knew that, since they were presumably knowledgeable (highly rated) electricians. So, in retrospect, there were red flags that were raised from the original contact and I cannot recommend this company.

Excellent service! Prompt and efficient. Gave quote before starting the job so there were no surprises.

I had an issue with our electrical set up ever since we moved in. We found poorly made outlets and oddly connect plugs and switches. It all came to head when all 4 of our cameras went out. I called 24-7 to have them look at it.
I apologize by I forgot the names of the two gentlemen that came out. But they saw that the previous owner created a single outlet to control the attic lights, cameras and front of the house lights. 24-7 staff fixed that and created new outlets for each of those areas, they even gave us a reasonable quote for some recessed lighting. They worked fast and clean and were very friendly, definitely will be returning to them for our lighting needs.

The entire team that I spoke with or had out at the house was great. I had been receiving quotes for a bathroom remodel project throughout the week, but these guys ended that process. They came out on time, provided a quote within 10 minutes, and were generally just well mannered and polite guys. After the quick quote, they told me they could do the work right then and there if I wanted to move forward. Between the competitive quote and the sense or urgency, I signed and let them get to work.
Everything that was done was fantastic and how we had discussed. They wired up some bathroom exhaust fans, new light wires, made connections to the original aluminum wiring in this old house, and did it was speed and quality. They got the city inspection scheduled and within 24 hours I had the electrical portion of this project complete.
Definitely recommend to anyone in need of quality licensed electricians! Thanks!

The lights and sockets stopped working in our master in our old home (in the middle of the holidays... 2020 am I right?) We contacted 24-7 and they were at our house the next day. Before the electrician arrived, I received a text with his picture with a link that contained an ""about me"" section and all of his reviews and recommendations. I was already impressed. When Cody arrived, he had our electricity working within a matter of minutes. He made some very helpful suggestions that we will follow up on in the near future when upgrading our home. We received a generous Veterans discount which is always a solid selling point!
Highly recommend this company. You won't be disappointed.

If I could give 24-7 a 10 star review, I would! I just moved to Weatherford into an older home who's previous contractor hired a inept electrician who pretty much wired the whole home on one junction box to a single circuit breaker. 24-7 came out and pretty much rewired the whole house, they helped install new sockets where we needed them and even did a few extra little things. They were on time each day and worked two full days. I absolutely could not be more pleased with their work and they will be my lifetime electrician for the next projects we have on our list. Mike and Noah are incredibly skilled and wow, what a great job they did for us. Thank you!!!
