Update - I was contacted by Honest Air after my review and they refunded me for the cost of the maintenance service that was performed. Additionally, they took responsibility for the errors that were made and state that they have taken actions through internal trainings to ensure this type of issue doesn't occur again. I appreciate the way they resolved the issue.

Back in October 2017 I was getting quotes on new equipment and the gentleman they sent was awesome. He spent about an hour doing a quote and was very professional. Once I'm in the market to replace my unit, I'll be going with them.

After hearing fan noise in the attic when the heat was running I called Honest Air Conditioning to have it checked out. I was offered an emergency services but opted an appointment the next morning. Chris A. called 20 minutes before my appointment which was the early part of my 3 hour window. Thankfully, the noise was just a loose flue. Chris explained the options and answered all of my questions. He quickly addressed the problem. He also gave me general advise on maintenance and things to look for in my older systems. I will definitely give Honest Air a call with any future problems and when it's time to replace my systems.

My wife and I started having AC/heat issues early December. We had 2 different companies come out to diagnose our problem. Neither one could give an accurate diagnosis. The second one threw parts at our system with no luck. My wife and I were beyond frustrated. We just wanted our system fixed.
I did the only thing I knew to do at that point and turned to yelp. I saw this shining 5 star company with tons of reviews. I knew I wanted these amazing people to help me!
I called and immediately was greeted with professionalism and a kind caring person, I felt my shoulders just drop as the weight was lifted immediately. William was at our house days later. He found our problem within minutes. I wish I could tell you it was a quick fix.... we had a low end system that was approaching the 11 year mark and was gonna cost a bit to fix. William explained the problem and explained the pros and cons of repairing our aged system with outdated refrigerant. We received quotes for our replacement system and felt we were in good hands. Once my wife and I chose one of the replacement options the Honest Air team was at our home within days tackling the task at hand. Let me tell you these guys worked their magic. The install was quick, professional, clean, courteous and downright phenomenal.
We were up and running and could not be happier with the service or the product we received from Honest Air.
The service industry has gotten so muddy and there's really not much ""service"" anymore. Let me tell you this company not only understands service but delivers on a promise to uphold their company's name Honest Air.

Great communication, fantastic service, thorough work. I had a furnace not blowing hot air. Honest came out and spent time to not only diagnose the problem but also label the type of heater circuit installed on my unit for future reference.

Our house has been between 67-70 since yesterday and will not warm up any higher. So after doing everything that I can do it was time to call an HVAC service. I called around including the previous companies we've used and no one was available today. Then I called Honest Air Conditioning and I was lucky someone was available. I said book me an appointment.

I was then told of the time it reminded me of old cable companies where they gave you a range of time, which was from 5-8 pm. But I'm at the mercy of the company so what can I do. Didn't realize that my phone was on silent so I missed multiple calls from Honest and their technician Rick Riker. I called Rick back and he apologized that he is still stuck in traffic and will probably get there within an hour or so (still well within the appointment time). He actually got to my house within an hour with Austin Traffic so that's pretty impressive.

Rick was amazing and he's the reason I'll be using Honest Air Conditioning again. I was pretty impressed by the fact that while he was stuck in traffic he asked me what's going on and some steps to try. Sadly it needed his technical expertise to actually get the issue resolved. While he was here he didn't mind me looking over his shoulder the entire time. I'm one of those I think I can learn from them but probably would forget, but the fact that he didn't seemed annoyed by it and even explained things to me was wonderful. Rick was definitely polite, knowledgeable, courteous, professional, and goes that extra mile for you. He pointed out a couple of issues that he mentioned was causing my problems (they were the shoddy work of previous HVAC companies) but he didn't force me to have them fix it. He showed me what I'll need to fix them myself if I wanted to. That to me speaks volume of the kind of person he is and the kind of information that I look for any company that I hire.

Thank you Rick and Honest Air Conditioning for fixing my heater and we are now at a comfortable 73 and it's actually snowing right now in Austin!!!

I have used honest air conditioning 3 times in the last year. I have been delighted with the service I have received. They have always been professional and friendly. Each time I have received same day service and a call from the technician before they arrived. The repairs have been carried out quickly, cost effectively and successfully. Rick did a really great job today and as it was just a wire that needed replacing did not even charge me. I love this company.

I called two Air conditioning companies and Honest Air Conditioning said they would call me back in 20 minutes and they did! Randy Mooney called and said he would be by between 11-2 but then he had a cancellation and came by within an hour. He was the nicest guy, and we figured out that it was just an electrical issue. He still checked out the system and the heater. There was a $95 service charge for coming on a Saturday, but he rolled it into a service plan where they come out and check out the AC and heater for $126 (I think that was what he said). Sounded good to me. Randy had a hat on that said Navy veteran. I think that it is great that this is a Veteran owned business and that they hire veterans.
