This owner came out and assessed my AC indicating I needed to either pay $1225 for R22 to be put in and Stop leak or $7800 to replace my unit due to a major leak. We contacted another company for a 2nd opinion and after paying $275, the AC was up and working again. The other company came back 5 days later and found no reduced Freon levels with AC working fine. They also said the unit sounds great and would probably last at least another 5 years. Hometown HVAC & Electrical is ""making a living"" by not properly assessing ways to save people money but line their pockets for unnecessary AC replacement and repairs. I was told by Hometown HVAC & Electrical my AC would not work until I paid $1225 for what may be a temporary fix or replace the unit for $7800. $275 later, my AC is working fine. RIPOFF!!!!

Just run, run to a company that cares, that knows what there doing, Run away. Run fast and far. The apprentice was getting yelled at a lot and was being told dont do this an that! Stop! Your gonna break it! Work was billed out that was not done. Parts are not carried an you will be waiting a while for anything to be fixed. Run away. You have been warned
